Directions:
From Highway 50 and I-5, head east on for 17.2 miles. Take the Folsom Blvd exit. Turn left onto Folsom Blvd. Continue onto Folsom-Auburn Rd for 2.2 miles. Continue onto Auburn Folsom Rd for 0.4 miles. Turn right onto Oak Hill Dr. and to the Beals Point entrance. Please remember to pay the $12.00 day use parking fee.

Can SCX10 run in Sportsman Class?

The 2.2 Sportsman class requirements are based on the AX10 or Losi Night Crawler chassis (I'm sure I left out a few chassis styles). A typical SCX10 does not meet the Sportsman class requirements. However, if you want to read the 2.2. Sportsman class requirements at the USRCCA website (http://www.usrcca.com/rules/USRCCA_2...01-15-2011.pdf) and do some serious overhauling, then yes you can compete. Keep in mind, the 2.2 sportsman courses are difficult and competitive courses.

You must meet the 2.2 Sportsman requirements to compete in this event. Your 2.2 sportsman rig will be tech'd if there is any question about the specifications.

Even if you are not able to get that SCX10 to specifications in time, we hope you still come out and check it out! There are a lot of experienced drivers at these events that can get you started in the 2.2 PRO MOA events.

Technically the only requirement an rtr scx does not meet is the 2.2 wheel requirement. As far as I know the scx has a wheel base under 12.5 so that's ok. Other than that he'd only be at a huge disadvantage for running a honcho.

However, running a 1.9 or 2.2 on any 2.2 comp course could be a huge source of extra frustration and part breakage. Then again he could kick all of our butts too.
