Looks GREAT. Fairlead is nice. I like how it has the roller look without the complexity of having to build a roller. Move those steering links to the tops of the knuckles for more clearance. Last edited by JasonInAugusta; 11-22-2006 at 06:44 PM. |

Hey Jason I might have something to play with in the super class too. I will be working hard to get it ready so I can make a fool of myself not once but twice.

Yeah, yeah. I hear ya. Build chit like that rig and claim to be a newb. I'm not buying it. Harold, Bring a super if you want but we're not going to compete with them. The terrain is boring for a super. There are a few spots that could be a challenge but you really have to try odd lines. | |

Someone was asking about the water hazards...(look for the reflection of the sky on the rocks) This is a lake so there's obviously no tide but there are several "tide pools" that form when it rains. These range from an inch or so to about 6" deep. If it hasn't rained we'll still have water hazards, we'll just use a 5 gallon bucket to fill these pools. One of my rig in one of the water holes... Most of them are about 2'-3" deep, nothing to worry about. P47Tbolt and myself were messing around in one the this past weekend that we'd both worried about. Neither of us had done anything to protect the electronics but we straddled the deep portion of the hole. I went through it today with the Land Rover (which is running Quark/Revolver) and did fine. Got worried about swamping it at one point but I came out of it unscathed. Just made it that much more fun. |

Cool. With a fairlead like that you'd better run a winch! I'm going to try to get lights, winches, and a few other things on some of my rigs...as well as build one or two between now and then. |

That's not a 2.2 or a 1.9 Clods fit into Supers. |

Yeah, bring it...just don't have a class for it. I think three classes will be plenty of crawling. |

Hey guys... 2.2s have been split into two classes - 2.2 comp and 2.2 scale. Comp rigs will follow RCC rules (12.5" wheebase, etc) and the 2.2 scale will follow Scale4x4 rules. (battery mounted on chassis, etc) If you're bringing a 2.2 please specify which you're bringing...if not both. |

I have only started building my truck, but unless I run into any unforeseen problems, I will be there to compete in the scale 2.2 class.
