Below you will find everything you will need to know about the Crawl-A-Palooza Scale Jamboree.

Friday October 10th
Driver check in @ Hogans Campground 10.00am-11:00PM
Everyone please check in as soon as possible !
We are trying to keep the driver check in's to a minimum Saturday morning.

Around 5:30PM Hogans camp main drive
Scale Show & Shine - before the night run - lets see those scale rigs !

Around 7:00PM (Dusk)

Scale "Light the Disney Night” !!
Just for fun - around a hour or so long - scale night fun run,
a chance for you to light things up on the Disney trails!

Saturday October 11th
Driver check in 7:00 to 9:00AM - Hogans Campground

G6/Poker Run Event Information
Starts @9:15/30AM to 11:00AM (Official run time yet to be determined)
1.9 - 2.2 Scale Class Vehicles
One G6 course for all classes 1.9 - 2.2
A time limited G6 style run - on a marked course with 4 chip/check points along the course.
Check points are where you will draw (with out looking) ONLY one numbered chip - per check point.
Fallow the course & find the check points until you have four different color chips with numbers on them.
These numbers will equal your total for the G6/Poker run.
Continue to the G6/Poker Run finish line - hand in your score card & chips to receive your run time/total.
Ties will be broken down by best finishing time.

A time limited - G6/Poker Run - after the time limit - you will time out - 0 points for the KOP.
The G6 course will be set up so contestants will be able to finish the course well within the time limit,
we don't want anyone timing out!
Start - Land Rush Style Start - all start at the same time - on the same clock.
2.2 up front - 1.9 to rear.

Course marked with "YELLOW" arrows - flags - tape & markers to fallow,
check point cans - bright yellow & numbered 1-2-3-4.
One - on course driver challenge that every one must do !
No - on course penalties - but try your best to drive it out if you get in trouble,
or help someone out if you see them in a fix!

This being a random chip draw - for a chip number value total.
“Could be a high chip number total - in the middle chip number total or a low chip number total,
no one will know until the end.”

This event is open to anyone to win !
Best you can do is just have a lucky chip number draw/time & have fun !
That is what this G6/Poker Event is all about. Having good RC fun with friends.
No real pressure in this event and a great way to start the day !

Scale Comp Crawl
Event Information
11:00AM to 4:00PM
3 - 6 Gate Scale Style comp courses with a time limit (yet to be determined)
1.9 - 2.2 scale class will each have their own 3 comp courses.
Normal scale/comp style rules apply. Everyone knows by now what these are !
One “Driver" Challenge at the end of course #3.
Normal comp style scoring system.

Scale Sprint Run & Hill Climb
Event Information
Both events run from 4:00PM until everyone finishes.

Scale Sprint Run
Event Information
1.9 - 2.2 Scale Class Vehicles
A short Sprint Course, where you will have two chances to set a fast lap time.
There will be a 10 second penalty for hitting or stepping on any course cones.
Fastest lap time wins the event.

Scale Hill Climb
Event Information
1.9 - 2.2 Scale Class Vehicles
May be open to an off/unlimited class if there is any interest.
A hill climb where you will have two chances to set your fastest single timed climb "to the top”.
There will be a 10 second penalty for hitting any course markers or cones.
Fastest climb time wins the event.

Events End
Award presentations directly afterwards back at Hogans Campground where we all started !


King-of-Palooza
Event Information
Over all events - contest - for a over all 1.9 & 2.2 winner - driving the same rig in all Crawl-A-Palooza scale events.
To be eligible for the King-of-Palooza you must compete in all 4 scale events.
G6/Poker Run - scale comp course - scale Sprint run & hill climb - "with the same vehicle".
The entry with the highest point total of all 4 of events for the day will be crowned the King-of-Palooza!

King-of-Palooza points are as fallowed:
For each finishing place in each Crawl-A-Palooza event you will be awarded K.O.P points.
1st place = 75 points - 2nd place = 74 points - 3rd place = 73 points - 4th place = 72 points, all the way down to 75th place = 1 point
Ties will be broken by the best G6 finishing time.

Sunday October 12th
Chip Cross Memorial Scale Friend Fun Run
starts @ 10.00/30AM - a hour or so long,
scale fun run around the park to remember a good guy & our friend Chip Cross.

Crawl-A-Palooza General Information

Our general mission for Crawl-A-Palooza this year is to offer up the finest and most fun multi-event RC scale event as we can.
With the emphases on FUN!

All though this event will be a competition based event - "just winning & seeing who is the best is not what were trying to do here".
We are just trying to get a bunch of good friends and people together to have fun enjoying our RC hobby!

Crawl-A-Palooza has always been this way. Good friends - great crawling and A LOT-O-FUN.
This is what has made Crawl-A-Palooza really cool to attend and so much fun to go to over all these years.

We just want to try and continue this tradition,
stay with what the current RC crawling popularity and trends, and have an event styled for these trends this year.

You may run more than one rig during Saturdays events.
All must be same class size.
You will "NOT QUALIFY" for the King-of-Palooza event.

Events running order - all classes 1.9 & 2.2
G6/Poker run - scale comp courses - scale Sprint run - hill climb.

Hogans Campground will serve as the event sign-in area, drivers meeting area, and G6/poker run starting line.

Scale rig definition for these events:
NO - TVP chassis - comp type tires or bodes - MOA axles - no scale item points given.

Crawl-A-Palooza scale jamboree events & times - could vary according to number of entries, weather and unforeseen conditions.

Tickets on sale from September 1st thru October 1st. After October 1st no tickets will be refunded.
