Join ETRC for the Pre Season Cookout and Comp!







Location: Cliffs Crawling Compound
Date: September 13th (Sat)
Time: Kicking off things at 9:00AM (setting up at 8:00AM)

ETRC will provide the Meat and a few other things.

Please reply if you are coming, how many you are bringing, and what food type item you could bring.

If you have never been to an ETRC comp, you are still welcome!

We will be running our usual classes as a pre-season warm up.

Pro - They will be fun and a little easier than our season comps
Shafty - The usual
Long Scale - BRING YOUR STINKING SCALERS!
Scale Comp - We will set up one ...maybe two if enough bring the rigs.

Change of plans...

Ocoee is having the black bear rampage mountain bike race the same day. It is going to be standing room only.

Cliff has been gracious enough to offer his competition grounds at the Cliff Compound. So same day, same time, Cliffs place.

He will be posting up directions soon.

Changing it up this year, I will be doing pulled pork.
We will have buns, bbq sauce and drinks ( i need to know what everyone wants for drinks)

Due to smaller than usual attendance and a healthy chance of rain, we are postponing the cookout.

We are going to combine the first comp of the season with the cookout, and hopefully get the big numbers that we are used to.

I will post the new thread THIS WEEKEND... but I can tell you that the Cookout / First Comp of the season will be toward the middle or end of October (after all the schools are done with fall break)

Sorry for the postponement, but there is a lot of prep work and expense that goes into the cookout. We want to make sure we have good weather and a healthy turnout so we don't waste any food. Thanks for your understanding... and spread the word about next month.
