Scrcc comp #1 -high curb edition- OCT 4th

Just got home from the comp and I gotta say it was well worth the trip and the long hours on the rocks. I want to give a big thanks to Derrick(M_Energy) and Bruce(BDN) for all their hard work to put this event on and a round of applause for everyone out there coaching, keeping time, scoring, and building courses. I think the raffle, trophies, and lunch was a great addition to the comps. As usual it was great to see some familiar faces to cut up and compete with and a few new faces who I feel fit well into the group.

I would also like to congratulate Jared, Johnny, Chuck, and Tyler for some great driving out there today. I know the courses were pretty rough given the rock we had to run and you guys being new to the comp scene. Great job guys and I enjoyed running with yall. Also a big thanks to Christina for helping with the raffle tickets, food, and keeping time. Hope everyone had a great time and hope to see all of you at the next one....

Well I just got home I appreciate all the kind words from everyone and I am more than glad to have made a good addition to our local level events

Christina I know I said it a lot yesterday, but THANKS for helping. I don't think we would have sold quite as many raffle tickets had you not offered to help.
Speaking of which we sold a 140$ worth of raffle tickets I was truly blown away at how well the raffle went. Can't wait to see what goodies we get to raffle off next comp!!!

Also a big thanks and congrats to Jared, Johnny, Chuck, and Tyler! Glad you came out and ran the rigs. I seen some pretty nice driving for some that have never competed before. If you have any questions feel free to pm me and we will get you hooked up. I was able to watch a few runs and I was able to see some good wheeling going in the trail class.

OK this was just crazy!!! I only saw the aftermath, but Todds rear winch hook snagged the bridge and was not going anywhere!! Well done Todd!


One other thing I wanted to add was Congrats to Ryan for the fastest time climbing the Cliffhanger Challenge! :34 secs and BDN was :38 secs VERY CLOSE!! Nice job.

The comp was a blast as usual. Love hanging with all the guys and gals. Congrats to Derrick for dominating all classes. We may need to gang up on him to change that???? Congrats to all the top finishers. Thanks to all that helped in some way. Great to hang with Todd and Christina. Always a pleasure. You guys are a hoot. Good to meet some new faces. Hope you guys enjoyed it and look forward to you being regulars. Let's do it again on Nov. 1st.
