tried to send an email at the adress on the main website and it seems it doesnt work! Just to know...there is a campground where we can actually do fire? Might get cold in the mountains at this time of the year! I never went to Eden, so I guess there is a little grocery store where we can get food....and a liquor store? about our rigs, need to be fully waterproof? we dont have a winch, but we both have a tow rope...that would be enough? And we probably need lights on the truck for the night part of the event? Thanks!!! |

Yes tow rope required, lights in vehicles are not but a head lamp for yourself is required if you wanted to do the night runs (which are for fun). There is a store 5 miles down the road that serves hot dishes. The camping situation and fire stuff I'm not 100% sure on. I know people are welcome to show up Friday and stay all the way till Sunday. Was this the email you tried? Vermont_Scale_RC@yahoo.com if so I can relay those concerns for you. Thanks, Ben |

actually no, it was ultimate_scale_challenge@yahoo.com but i'll try the other one for the camping If we are crossing by Stanstead, we can stop shop a little grocery like hot dogs, Jerky and beverages and probably liquor too! I will also bring a head lamp, that's no problem at all! It's more that now that I know that there is nothing much in Eden, i'll stop before.

PLEASE READ: Rules handed down from E.C.C.O. to the USC Command Center, be informed. This is a HANDS FREE event. Meaning, if your truck starts to roll, you let it roll. IF you touch your truck for any HOG, (hand of god) you will receive asevere points blow to your points challenge. You will be hitting the course with a judge and a fellow competitor. Meaning, there will be two of you working together on the course. (You choose.) You will be timed, and you will both be scored individually, but MUST work together. Then in 15 minutes the next two competitors will start their adventure. You may pass a struggling team. There will be gates you MUST both go through to move onto the next. Gates will be marked with Tennis balls, or ribbon tape. We will let you know the day of the comp. There is a main trail, and you must stay on that trail. Veering off the trail or going around the obstacles will go against your points and may add another challenge to your day. (crashing off course does not count) If one of you breaks down, you both work to fix it, if it is unfixable, the lone competitor can move on without their co-competitor. IF the lone competitor can not move pass an obstacle they can wait for the next challengers to catch up, and then that lone competitor will continue with those challengers for the remainder of the course. There will be three extra challenges to your trail run… What they are, you will find out on the trail. No heads up here, expect the unexpected is the only tip we are giving you. We wish you good luck, prepare for this event! | |

Great photos! My orange not-even-remotely-scale-looking JK even made it into one. I agree, awesome event. Best one I've been to this year. Has to be the largest gathering to play with toy trucks in the green mountain state EVER! I must have had 4.5 hours drive time between 3 classes, and another 4 hours playtime afterwards. I didn't come out of the woods until 2AM to sleep in the truck. Course, I'm also totally psyched that I left with the Ascender kit! A big thanks goes out to CKRC for donating the kit and many other prizes. |
