Saturday, Oct 10th - 4 different scale events planed in one day !

G6/poker run (day & night courses) - Scale comp crawling courses,
the King of Disney - scale KOH style event (day & night courses) & the Hill climb challenge.

Should make for a full day of fun & good times - with new & old friends - for all ages & skill levels.

Sunday Oct 11th - Chip Cross memorial fun run.
A slow paced - group fun run - to remember a good guy !


This years Crawl-A -Palooza Scale Jamboree,
we will be offering you a chance to win - the most award/plaques of any Crawl-A-Palooza to date !!
Our goal this year is to award entries with a whole "LOT" of nice Crawl-A-Palooza scale jamboree plaques up for grabs and a full day of Scale RC fun !

This will be the Crawl-A-Palooza you "DON'T" want to miss !!

Hogans off road campground will serve as check in/sign in area - all day friday,
plus a cool place to camp - super nice recreational area - good friends & a weekend of RC scale action.

Events Information
Below you will find most everything you will need to know about this years events.
If you have any questions please let me know.

Friday October 9th
Driver check in @ Hogans Campground 10.00am-11:00PM
Everyone please check in as soon as possible !
We are trying to keep the driver check in's to a minimum Saturday morning.

show & shine concourse contest 1.9 & 2.2 at 7.00 pm friday night


Saturday October 10th
Driver check in 7:00 to 8:45AM
at the day time event control area (TBA)

KING of DISNEY & G6/Poker run
course #1 - Day time Leg
Starts @
9:15/30 AM to 11.30 am

G6/Poker Run
1.9 - 2.2 Scale Class Vehicles
You can enter "ONLY ONE CLASS" for this event - 1.9 or 2.2 class - but not both classes !
Two G6 style separate courses (one day time leg - one night time leg)
A time limited run - on a marked course with check points along each course.

KING of DISNEY
1.9 & 2.2 Scale Class Vehicles
You can enter "ONLY ONE CLASS" for this event - 1.9 or 2.2 class - but not both classes!
this is a 2 course (day & night leg) event.
this is a true to scale "king of the hammers" style event.
it will test not only your rig - but the drivers all so !!
its a simple event - fastest combined times form the day & night courses - wins the KOD !!

KOD drivers will run on/use the same course as the G6/Poker run drivers.
if your wanting to enter/run both the KOD along with the G6/PR events,
you may do so in your KOD run & draw your G6/PR chips during your run in the KOD event.

KOD/G6PR Course & Events info:
Check points are where you will draw (with out looking) ONLY one numbered chip - per check point.
Fallow the course & find the two check points on each leg,
until you have two different color chips with numbers on them from each leg.
drawing only two chips per course leg - two for the day leg & two for the night leg
These numbers will equal your total for the G6/PR.
Continue to the G6/PR finish line - hand in your score card & chips
G6/PR ties will be broken down by best finishing time.

G6/PR - A time limited event (9.30 to 11.30 am),
after the time limit - you will time out (DNF).
The G6/PR course will be set up so contestants will be able to finish the course well within the time limit,
we don't want anyone timing out!

Courses marked with arrows - flags - tape - cones for markers to fallow,
check point cans - bright yellow & numbered (day leg 1-2) - (night leg 3-4.
One - on course driver challenge that every one must do !
No - on course penalties - but try your best to drive it out if you get in trouble,
or help someone out if you see them in a fix!

G6/PR - being a random chip draw - for a total chip number value.
Could be a high chip number total - in the middle chip number total or a low chip number total,
"no one will know until the end"

G6/PR event is open to anyone to win !
good - bad - fast or slow - young or old - all drivers have the SAME CHANCE to win !
Best you can do is just have a lucky chip number draw/time & most of all - have fun !

That is what this G6/PR Event is all about. Having good RC fun with friends.
No real pressure in this event and a great way to start & finish the day !

KOD - Start style,
King of Disney drivers start 20 seconds apart - each driver on his own clock.

G6/PR - Start style,
Land Rush Style Start for the G6/PR
all G6/PR drivers start at the same time - all on the same clock.

Scale Comp Crawl
Event Information
11:30 pm to 3:30 pm
1.9 & 2.2 Scale Class Vehicles
and a Team family 1.9 class

1.9 Team Family class
is for two family members to compete together,
on the comp course at the same time, working as a team.
mom/dad/grand paw with son/daughter/grand kid - work together to get thru the course,
helping one another to keep there scores low !
both will be scored as normal - for a combined total score.
sons or daughters & grand kids - 12 & under please.
it will take a least 4 teams to make this class possible !

3 - 8 Gate Scale Style comp courses -per class - with a time limit (TBA)
Normal scale/comp style rules apply. Everyone knows by now what these are by now !
Scale comp style scoring system - no scale item points given !

You can enter both classes if you like ! - 1.9 & 2.2

it will be the your responsibility to run your classes & comp courses in this 4 hour time frame !
the comp courses will be open for 4 hours - only !!
if you have not finished your courses in 4 hours - you will receive a (DNF) penally

Comp Crawl Awards presentations directly afterwards back at the comp control area.

Scale Hill Climb
Event Information
3:30 to 5:30 pm
1.9 - 2.2 Scale Class Vehicles
You can enter both classes if you like for this event - 1.9 & 2.2
A hill steep climb - where you will have two chances to set your fastest single timed climb "to the top”.
There will be a 10 second penalty for hitting any course markers or cones or time keeper.
Fastest climb time wins the event.

Hill Climb Award presentations directly afterwards back at the hill climb control area.

5.30 to 7.00 pm
Event Break Time
dinner - rest up & repair for the KOD & G6P night leg run.

7.30 pm 9.00 pm
KOD & G6/Poker run Night leg starts

Sunday October 11th
Chip Cross Memorial Scale Friend Fun Run
starts @ 10.30AM - a hour or so long,
scale fun run around the park to remember a good guy & our friend Chip Cross.

Jerry, what are the rules you are following for the comp courses??? SORCCA without scale points, this new trail modified stuff from RCCA, or your own club blend. I've a lot of people asking about it

comp course rules will be loosely based on SORCCA rules,
no scale item points - no dig or 4WS penalty points,
the rest about the same,
trying to keep the rules as simple as we can

What about a 2.2 class for the team event.
I have two 2.2 vehicles and a team and would love to enter this.
Plan on entering the 2.2 and possibly the 1.9 hill climb, so I'll be there.
