Thank you for coming! I really appreciate the help yesterday. It's not often that new guys help time, and help clean up at the end. You and a couple other rookies did that yesterday and it didn't go un-noticed.

I hope you become a regular... even though that's a heck of a drive!

About yesterday....

It was AWESOME ! Even though it was a bit cold, those were some great conditions for Northshore. We had plenty of people for all the classes, and I want to thank you guys who travelled for comp for that.

Stratos made the drive from SC, FastpassTommy came from Mississippi, and Rusty made it in from NC... so it was another multistate ETRC event

A large and much earned thank you to these guys...

CrazyboutCrawlin for being my go-to guy for the Scale Class. It wouldn't happen without you bro.

Ray (Sratos) for picking up most of the courses at the end of the day. I want to hug you! (In a manly way) You are always welcome.

Rusty, Torched, Sinister, and CBC for setting up some great tough courses.

Vaughn (Moon Dog) for stepping up and starting to judge some. (pretty sure I saw you with a clipboard some yesterday)

And Sirbuildsalot, FastPassTommy, and Charles B for helping pick up, and for being so enthusiastic! You guys are a lot of fun to hang around with.

I saw some great driving yesterday, and those rocks were unpredictable. I will get the scores up over the next couple of days. I haven't even looked at them yet so I don't know how any of the classes turned out.

Keep checking back here for scores and for proposed dates for the next comp. Then after I get some idea of a good date, I'll make a new thread for the next one.

It's a team effort, glad to help out. Had a great time. Yes i did some of the judging, got a lot to learn though. Hope to see more new faces and glad we have more wanting to learn the in's and out's. I may even start working on the sporty a little ( not as fun as trail ), but fun just the same. Thanks to the new guys for all the help and to everyone for all the HARD work for making these happen.

Wow, what a great day, ETRC comps are always a blast, great people and as always the place is an unexpected challenge. I think that is why this is one of my favorite spots (Dayton Pocket Wilderness is my favorite) you never know quite what the challenge will be, dirt, sticks, vines, stobs, leaves, ice, mud or fellow competitors throwing themselves at you unexpectedly! (I swear I would/ could have caught you Harvo ) As always a great time crawling even if I didn't drive very well it is always fun... See everyone at the next one!!!

You guys really know how to make a guy feel welcome. I really appreciate y'all letting me come crawl with you. It was definitely a blast, as always. I enjoyed seeing the regulars and meeting the new guys. The ratio of newbies vs experienced crawlers is comparable to the SC comps. Drop-off in attendance has also been experienced by both, so it's good to get together with the neighboring clubs and hangout. I hope you guys get a chance to join us here in SC sometime.

Thanks for the kudos Harvo, but I don't mind helping at all. Just glad I'm still able. And I'm a wholehearted believer in "The more that help, the easier it is on everyone." Luckily that site doesn't require you to stand on rocks continuously, so my old body wasn't aching too bad at the end. The courses were challenging and the leaves made them even tougher. A nice spot and an even nicer group of guys. Hope to join y'all whenever I can.
