Default ORCRC Comp #2 results and pictures....

Okay, I don't really have any results but I do have some pictures! I wasn't in charge of keeping score or figuring out the final point standings... yahoo!! No stress, although my wrist is still broken

Anyway.....

Group shot, I'm sure there's a better one out there but I'm posting my pictures

Course #1... I hated this one, that's all I have to say.

Course #2 now... didn't sanp many images of #1 due to no good vantage spot to snap away. Here's Sean's Maxx hybrid crawler at the start of course #2:

Now just random images from the day:

Yes, there is a truck under the water... still running too.

More pictures from today can be seen at:

Ryan's site has some goo dstuff too!

Cool pics there. I like the looks of your courses. Nice and technical.

Did you guys score? Who won etc?

What rules did you follow?

BTW, I still can't understand why you guys feel the need to submerge your trucks. Must have more $$$ and time than me to be happy taking the risk of totally ruining your electrics + needing a total rebuild afterwards. Am I missing something, just doesn't make sense

It must be an Orgon thing.
If your electronics are sealed & waterproofed, that is just a little extra fun you can have with a CENTER TRANNY crawler. Granted, I dont turn mine into a submarine like that one guy did

If you run a waterproof esc and have a water-tight sealed receiver, what are you ruining going under water?

Clean your motor out when you get home, and you're good to go again tomorrow! Plus it's FUN!

RESULTS from the comp can be found here:

Here in Oregon we live in a near constant rain, unlike you Aussie's taking all our sunshine We have to be ready for anything. This comp didn't have any water hazards to cross... At High Rocks there are almost too many water hazards.

Plus, it's only water You guys can't swim I bet

Hey toyo thats what I like to hear. I had such a great time this weekend. But is all I can think about is what can I do for next weekend to make the maxx crawl even better. You better be bustin a$$ on tater tot cuz I wanna see the jumbo kongs stomp me a new mudhole. That way I can have a reason to spend a hundred dollars on a set of tires.
