Team Event - OverLand 1.9
 

So this is a 2 man/woman event were you and your partner start and finish with each other. This event is all about working together to get you through the 75-150 markers.

Ok so this will be a class 2 event so 1.9 size tires only. Mandatory items for the team will be a Tow strap, Winch, Spare tire, Sand ladders and a stop watch (all items must be usable). Each teammate doesn't have to have the mandatory items but between both of the teammates you must have these items.
Each Team will need to purchase a stop watch, the time starts when they leave the start, time will continue until you have finished.
Team Challenge"thumbsup" helpers will write down your time on notecards, you will take this with you on the trail to write ...down + seconds.
Cards will be handed in when you finish - Both drivers and rigs must finished together.
Best of All: You must come up with a Team Name (Family appropriate)

1.9 Scale (class1 and class 2) and Wraith. Must have rail chassis and drive shaft (no motor on axle). Must run 1.9 wheels.
1. No vehicle touches (Must recovery using winch or team mate).).
2. No roll (Must recovery using winch or team mate).
3. No touch repo – Touching your rig will add 10 seconds to your total time.
4. No judges winch.
5. Battery changes and repairs done on course and on time.
6. Gates are moderate to hard (some gates may require a winch or recovery vehicle). Team work is encouraged.
7. Each Team leave together. The next team will leave 5 mins after. If an opposite team is in front of you, you can pass them in a reasonable manner.
8. No reverse penalties.
9. Gate penalties adds 20 seconds to you total time
10. No Winch penalties

• Series Event locations- Amador Lake, Folsom Lake, Carnegie, Mt Diablo, <ACRONYM title="To be discussed">TBD</ACRONYM>
Event series: 6 total races, Will try every month ( Best 5 times will be added together with the highest time thrown out, which include No show)
