Accomodation

https://zarizitech.nn.fi/kuvat/EuroC...pg?img=smaller
Crawler Village 2 is happening in Portugal EuroCrawl!"thumbsup""thumbsup"

We have been fortune enough to make a deal with a local camping area for booking cottages to accomodate competitors of EuroCrawl. A bit further that we had in France, but only 10 minutes drive away from the comp site.

Orbitur Camping Guincho

Lugar de Areia, EN 247-6
2750-053 Cascais
Portugal

They are offering max. 5 person capacity bungalows. They have 1 double bed, 1 single bed and one bunk bed. I assume you can also sleep in the sofa to fill the cottage with five persons. Price can be seen above. There is also a possibility for breakfast and dinner, which is really good service. "thumbsup" We are most likely doing a group dinner again after the competition days, so make sure to be there! "thumbsup" Dinner schedule coming later.

A few more things that I want to add about the accommodation.

- Unless asked for I will put a maximum of 4 people per bungalow so everybody has an individual bed

- I will try, unless asked for, to put people that stay the same amount of days in the same bungalow to share the price

- Price is per bungalow, not per person, so if, for example, you stay some days alone or just two people in the bungalow the price is still 59€ per day.

- As you can see on the map posted above, the comp site unfortunately, is not within walking distance of the camping.
A car is advised.
This doesn't mean that every single person needs a car but please keep that in mind.
For example I will have my car so that's already 4 people that I can carry, at least on the comp days.

- Meals are only available on comp days. This means, only Friday, Saturday and Sunday (6, 7 and 8 of October). The other days you can cook in the cottage or eat out.

- The Camping asks for 50% of the total price to be paid when we make the reservation. Since they only accept bank transfer we think the easiest (or at least the cheapest), option is to send your payments to my paypal and I will make the bank transfer. And please select the paypal option of "sending money" and not "paying for goods".

- Please register early to make our job easier..."thumbsup"

Course desing

Modified and Shafty will run six courses. Mini and Super class will both have four courses. Final course for five drivers will be driven right after each class has finished their qualification courses. Course design is ten regular gates + 2 bonuses worth 10 points each. You can drive bonus gates whenever you want between start and gate ten. Time for each course is 5 minutes. Final couses will contain 10 regular gates + 5 bonuses worth 10 points each. Time for finals course is six minutes.

Finalists

Five best drivers are qualifed for finals. Finals will be driven after the qualification courses. Points will continue from where they stand after the qualification.

Rules

We will drive with 100% US 2017 rules. You can find them here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...nfpTTEDKo/edit
Be sure to know it! ;-)

Judging

Here is the important bit you need to read. We want to make this competition our joint effort. That's why we have chosen the most efficient way of judging; group modus.

We will split the drivers in six groups on Modified and Shafty and four groups on Mini and Super. Each group will drive one course simultaneously. We will make the groups based on the level of the drivers. Each group should have experienced drivers, semi experienced drivers and new comers. Each group has group chief, who will be resposible of the group. Judging etc... We will try to put two drivers from one country to each group, so nobody is left "alone".
