LERK Presents The Team Challenge Poker Run

Hi everyone and here we go again, This is our 4th annual Poker Run.

So this is a 2 man/woman team event were you and your partner start and finish with each other. This event is all about team work to get you through the 100-200 markers and the twist on the event is the 6 bonus sections were you and your partner can bank playing cards.

So there well be 6 bonus sections and each section that is completed by you and your partner well bank you a card so at the end of the event the best hand wins the pot. However if you hit a ribbon in the bonus sections you do not get a playing card for that section.

This is not a timed event and it's $10 a team and all money go's into the pot for the best poker hand or hands depending on the amount of participant's.

Ok so this well be a class 2 event so 1.9 size tires only. Mandatory items for the team well be tow strap, Winch, Spare tire and sand ladders. Each teamate doesn't have to have the mandatory items but between both of the teamates you must have these items.

Some of us well be going up thursday morning to camp out so if you want bring your rigs and come have some fun and we'll also be doing a night trail ride from the slick rock staging area to Utica dam as well as night runs each night, Oh my this is going to be one to remember

Time: No start time but event well be open at 9:00am

Fee: $10 a team

Heres GPS coords as well as directions:

GPS= 38* 26'24.29 N / 120* 00'26.72

Directions= From Hwy99 take Hwy4 toward Angels Camp Ca about 45 miles, Once in Angels Camp stay straight onto hwy4 bypass from there drive another 40 miles up hwy4 to Spicer Meadow Rd, Take a right on Spicer Meadow Rd and go about 9 miles and take a left onto the gravel rd. You'll see the little signs saying Utica lake and Union Lake. About a mile up the gravel rd stay to the left when the road forks, Go another couple miles to the end of the gravel rd and you'll see a big staging area for the Slick Rock trail and your there. Park anywhere and i'll have a team LERK sign out pointing to the camp site.
