First time motorama

Hi everyone, just completed the registration for 2018 scale trials at motorama.
This will be my first time crawling any where other than my back yard. I do occasionally race 1/10 stock sc, but this will be my first time in a crawling comp. Any advice or things I should know?
I’ve been messing around with crawlers for a few years now. So far I have built 3 axial kits, 1 scratch built class 3 truck and I am in the process of scratch building a rig for the open class motorama event.

Thanks, Justin

Where are you located in PA? My best advice for any competition is just be ready to have fun. If you do well it's just a bonus. Be ready to traverse mud and gunk galore.

If you're on FB search for "Eastern PA RC Crawlers" for the local club. We run pretty close to you often. There are other guys in the club from Lancaster. I'm out that way for work from time to time.

You can also look on FB for "US Scale Trials Championship". That's the event group for Motorama. Lots of info and posts there about what to expect.

Nice we have several members from up in that area. Le me know if you need anything. I'll see you at Motorama.
