Those bastards wave at me too. At the gas station they call it a jeep when I fill up. Even though it says SUZUKI in big whit letter on the back. How do you like the continuous centers on the SS?

I was pulling out Toyota Ravs, Suburu Outbacks, and those little Honda's after the snowstorm this last weekend with my Heep. I'll probably be doing it again tomorrow since they're saying 12"-20" by Fri |

I see those AWD with computers in the BMW's get confused and not know what wheels to send power to. I prefer a Jeep vehicle, been very dependable for me I'm only locked in back, but it gets me where I need/want to go. I didn't mention lots of XJ's on the road, and lots of them in the bone yard for parts, plus the aftermarket market has no end. P.S. I'm a Ford guy. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, my dad can beat up your dad Last edited by freetimecrawler; 03-01-2007 at 12:15 AM.

I'm cool with Jeeps, it's just the Jeep owners. Clearly you don't have the same state of mind they do. You take a more hardware angle, the truck has what you want. You don't care that it says Jeep on the front. As Cole said XJ's are different, I honestly would consider owning one. It's just the other guys commonly jeep owners that seem to think their little cute utes are the best thing to ever hit the dirt, no Nissan or Toyota (insert brand name here)would have ever made it up or down or whatever. My dad is the same way with his AWD CR-V "The Honda is reliable Ben you should get one they do ok offroad". He doesn't understand why I like rough tires, want a bigger lift and don't mind the bad MPG or rough ride. Why? because honda's are best. |

Actually from the people I have wheeled with around here, the Jeep guys are all very cool. Most of the jeep and toyota guys are into trail riding and rocks, where the ford and chevy trucks are all into mudding. Now mall crawlers are a completly different group.... Though don't judge a jeep based on looks and call it a mall crawler. I've seen a few very clean rubicons out on the trails. One some of them are just very good drivers, tackling all of the trails without getting a single scratch while just about everyone else took some dents. |

That's why I love Jeep guys they get defensive when you say Heep or mall rated. I drive Jap crap! I like mud! Learn to live with a little humor and life is much easier. If jeeps weren't so dam expensive I would drive one. I'll go check out the crawling spot later to see what the deal is. We are getting a butt load of rain as Soya said. But seriosely why do all CJ, YJ, and TJ people wave? |
