i seached some of the other sea scape comp threads and couldnt find any directions.

Yep, you are welcome to hitch a ride with me.

Skyjacker - What time are we going to start this event?

I think we should allow people to practice the coarse before the comp starts. If you are late you don't get to practice. What do you think?

we could start practice at 9:45 and start the comp at 11:00. Im not sure though im open to any ideas.

I like the idea of time before the comp to tweak our rigs and get a feel for the course.

I don't think we need an hour and 15 minutes to practice and tweak.

What if we have 30 minutes to practice starting at 9:45 and then 15 minutes to organize who will be judging and discuss the rules?

If we are all on the same page before the comp starts I think it will make for a smooth event.

Bigred, keep your panties on! I will find the directions and post them.

OK, skyjacker or someone else with a sense of direction. I cannot find the directions in old threads so please post them up.

And Dave, don't bother postnig the direction... I don't want to end up in San Francisco.

Here are the directions ...

From San Francisco Bay Area/San Jose

Follow Hwy 101 south to I-880, which becomes Hwy 17 south over the Santa Cruz Mountains. Exit Hwy 1 South (Watsonville/Monterey) from Hwy 17 and continue 9 miles south to the San Andreas/Larkin Valley Road exit. Turn right off the exit and follow San Andreas west to Seascape Blvd. Turn right on Seascape Blvd. and continue until it ends at Seascape Resort Drive. Lobby is to the left.

Small Portion of Directions Map

From Monterey Bay

Follow Hwy 1 north towards Santa Cruz. Exit Hwy 1 at the San Andreas/Larkin Valley Road exit. Turn right off the exit and follow San Andreas west to Seascape Blvd. Turn right on Seascape Blvd and continue until it ends at Seascape Resort Drive. Lobby is to the left.

From Sacramento Area

Follow Hwy 80 West to I-680 south, which becomes I-280 North. Exit at Hwy 17 south going over the Santa Cruz Mountains.
