I'm tryin to get it dialed TJ, hopin to get some work done Thursday & Friday.

My biggest problem is how bad my rig is cogging. I thought the 11.1 Lipo would help hold it from coggin and rolling backwards but no deal. I tryin to figure out if it's my Mamba, 3013 Hyperion or the way I have my radio settings. More practice needed is part of it!

(cowbell)?

Are you using the mamba 25? I never could get any sort of braking with manual programing. Also before you start reprograming the ESC pull the motor out and make sure your drive train spins easily when you grab a wheel. Your problem could be as simple as a steering knuckle mounted upside down.

LMFAO - Now I got the cowbell!

No, it's the Mamba Max. I also run bearings and the drivetrain spins freely. I know Sloth is running a Mamba and an Elite BL motor with a 7.4v Lipo. His gearing is lower with taller tires and he has very little cog, plus his rig weighs a pound more than mine.

I'll just keep tryin little things till I figure it out:-(

The word is in ....... we have approval.

I checked the water level at the reservoir and we are still OK. I will keep an eye on the water level to make sure it does not get too high. I believe we have a backup location if the water level gets too high. It should not be a problem, but I will keep an eye on it.

So here are the logistics. We can only get one vehicle down to the waters edge at a time so we will have to shuttle people and gear. There is a parking lot at the top of the hill the requires a $6 or $7 park fee. There is also a restroom at the parking area. It is a short walk down to the comp spot, similar in distance to the Red Rocks School area. There is plenty of parking but I recommend carpooling if possible. I would also bring lunch as it is a 10-15 minute drive to get food.

Directions from the North:

Merge onto I-25 N / US-87 N toward FT COLLINS
Take the HARMONY exit (exit 265) - Turn LEFT (West) onto E HARMONY RD(CO-68 W ROAD)
Continue to follow HARMONY RD(CO-68 W ROAD) This will have some curves but don't turn off of Harmony.
CO-68 W becomes CR-38E. Follow this up the hill to reservior.

From here use the map on below link. As you first get to the reservoir, you meet with CR23, here you turn Right or North. You should still be on the East side of the reservoir. If you turn South, you have missed the turn. Continue North along the reservoir and turn left at the T-in the road
( continuing North). You drive across one damn and continue to the parking area labled Sunrise on the map (see link below for map). I believe it is just after the second cattle guard. It is a short walk to the north down to the area on a graded dirt road.

Should be fun at a new spot.

I believe it is a state park hence the reason you have to pay to bless them
