Troy, I did hear both sides to the story. In all fairness, at races, racers do not need to grab a frequency clip when racing, only practicing. I was/am not trying to start a war about it either way, just putting it out there. I may be mistaken, but I do not think the gate fee is covered by entry fees. It was not covered at the WOR (Winter Off-road Racing) this past winter that Mike put on. The gate fee was in addition to any entry fees. I am sure we can ask him and he will clarify, but last I heard he was still debating whether to have them (gate fees) or not. |

I didn't know that about the tage's, I'm not into the racing stuff. Besides some electric drags,(and elect races ages ago) the only racing I've been around is the X-Games last yr. I use spektrum to avoid hassles myself. I just know, we did what Mike instructed us to do, that was, check the board, and if there was a tag hanging there, do NOT run. He claimed a tag would always be hanging if someone was on the track on that freq. Anyway, No hard feelings here, I hope the racers aren't harboring any hard feelings towards the crawler group though. I'd have to look on the gate fee's, I thought I read on the X-Games webpage entry covered them. I could be mistake as well. | |

Yeah, you cuold be right, I guess I have not even read the web page yet , just going off conversations with Mike. Anyway, enough of this crap, lets talk about crawling . I think maybe someone should build 1 3x3 sheet to see how it turns out and to see what kind of cost would be involved. When I tried building mine, I madethe outer frame and a few cross memebers out of 1x2 pieces of wood. I then took some 1/4" plywood and cut some shapes out to use a terrain. I then took chicken wire and covered that. Hard to explain, maybe I should take a pic of it, it is still in my garage. |

I don't know if I care to be part of this. Casey no offense towards most of the racer group, but there is ALWAYS a D@#K in the bunch! Racing to me is way too tempermental. I enjoy the slow and easy going pace of our group. I will keep in touch on this. Tell me you guys scored those blocks! Ryan |

Great find Chris!!! Get as many as you can, I'm sure we can carve them into a nice course and cover them with bedliner or whatever. That will allow us to start thinking about the Top Truck Challenge courses. |

So are any of you guys camping on site? My brother and I are thinking about camping at Taylor falls then driving to the camp site each day. Might as well stay at the best crawl spot in MN right. I'll make some of the 3' by 3's I need a spot to crawl in the shop. Don't think I'm going to make a bunch as they have to fit in the honda but yeah. You guys want me to work on anything else to help out? |

| I'm pretty sure there aren't any showers at the fairgrounds. There are some hotels nearby though. |
