Great pics. I had fun today (as always). I knoticed that when I do decent on a stage I have a hell of alot more fun. First one sucked but the second one was decent. lol |

I had a lot of fun as well, despite the fact that I was plagued with problems from the start: last minute late-night swap to 1/10 scale servos/mounts/steering links breaking a servo mount loose from the axle plates (my fault, drilled it wrong to begin with) thought I stripped the GD-600, so I took it out and put just the lathe in its place discovered GD-600 wasn't to blame, something inside the tranny is screwy lack of traction (and driving skill  ) with the 2.2 (hey, at least I'm honest  ) And the fact that I was beat by a kid in the 2.2 class  , oh well, probably won't be the last time, at least he wasn't a girl  . Then, I'd just be forced to give up rc and learn how to knit or something. Seriously, he did a great job. I was impressed. |
what was the finishing places? |
Here are the results. Most of the tlt's where bulu type trucks. The bulu setup was impressive. I was glad the park ranger did not kick us out of the "Area Closed" area. I had a great time. I only wish I could have stayed longer. It was nice to put some faces to names. See you next time. David. |
First times a Blast!!!! WOW!!! What FUN!!! Great pics Rich!! I can't wait to do it again. Hats off to to Kevin for putting on a great event and winning. Props to Chris in the 2.2 class. Look out if he gets his pop to spring for a rear servo!! I learned a ton from everyone today. My TLT's getting a Pede tranny and I'm fabbing up a new chassis for it (my girlfriends not going to like that ). The Ol Clod got narrowed and is getting some weights in the tires. Never had a better time in my life. Thanks again Kevin!! |
4 Attachment(s) More?.....yes |

glad everyone had a good time. |
Does anyone have any alloy clod knuckle arms that they'd like to sell? I remember someone saying that they had a few, but can't really remember their name. I think it was azvader, but I'm not sure. Also, while I'm asking, anybody got some extra clod-to-maxx wheel adaptors? I would get the knuckles from inetrc, but they're out of stock at the moment, and I'm too lazy/busy to make them. By the way, the 2.2 is going through some major changes, so look out next time! |

Thanks to all for a great time, and for being cool when the ranger showed up. Oh...and nice pics. |
How could we not be cool when the ranger showed? He was a cool guy and was interested in the trucks. lol |
Dave, are you suggesting that the alloy arms are narrower than stock, or that I will want to use the narrower stock arms? Just wondering. I plan on using clod to maxx adapters, no wideners. And by the way, it's not for the 2.2! It was a bit wide for the course, but I have some radical changes in mind... |

It was great to see everybody there and look forward to the next comp. where I hope to drive the stick as it deserves and show off its true potential. Thanks again Kevin for a great truck and competition. A big thanks goes to Shane and Sean with Northland Hobbies because without them I would have been a 100% DNF just like Dave:) |

I'm trying to get him to drive one of my extra trucks, so we can have another crawler!! |
nice pics. they came out really well. i like that first 2.2 pic. if no one was standing behind it, it almost looks like a real truck coming up over that rock. |
