| I had a lot of fun as well, despite the fact that I was plagued with problems from the start: last minute late-night swap to 1/10 scale servos/mounts/steering links breaking a servo mount loose from the axle plates (my fault, drilled it wrong to begin with) thought I stripped the GD-600, so I took it out and put just the lathe in its place discovered GD-600 wasn't to blame, something inside the tranny is screwy lack of traction (and driving skill ) with the 2.2 (hey, at least I'm honest ) And the fact that I was beat by a kid in the 2.2 class , oh well, probably won't be the last time, at least he wasn't a girl . Then, I'd just be forced to give up rc and learn how to knit or something. Seriously, he did a great job. I was impressed. |

Here are the results. Most of the tlt's where bulu type trucks. The bulu setup was impressive. I was glad the park ranger did not kick us out of the "Area Closed" area. He was really cool and stayed to watch one of the 2.2 rigs run through the stage. Flagstaff guys, thanks for coming down. Results are as follows: 2.2 Class: DoubleDub, TLT, 68 points Christopher, TLT (Bob), 78 points Grover, Stick Clod (Nada2.2), 111 points Paranoid56, Bulu (The Coolest FJ40), 116 points AZVader, TLT (Buster), 124 points WRMorrison, X2.2 Clod, 167 points Halfdoc, TLT, 255 points (only ran first stage) Unlimited Class: Kevinlongisland, Xtreme Clod (Rolling Thunder), 29 points DoubleDub, Mach1 Clod, 68 points Fireman, Custom Clod (Crawldad), 98 points Grover, Gecko Clod (Cars1929), 109 points AZVader, Clod, 150 points Minitrucker, TXT (Flipper), 162 points Paranoid56, Xtreme Clod (Boner), 311 points SR5Dave, Clod, DNF WRMorrison, Emaxx Custom (Stein Hund), DNF Nick, Stock Twin Force (Betty), DNF Stage Breakdown 2.2 Class: Stage 1: DoubleDub 64 Christopher 69 Grover 77 Paranoid56 58 AZVader 83 WRMorrison 62 Halfdoc 55 Stage 2 DoubleDub 4 Christopher 9 Grover 34 Paranoid56 116 AZVader 41 WRMorrison 105 Halfdoc DNF (200) Stage Breakdown Unlimited Class: Stage 1: Kevinlongisland 26 DoubleDub 56 Fireman 65 Grover 55 AZVader 82 Minitrucker 129 Paranoid56 111 SR5Dave DNF WRMorrison DNF Nick DNF Stage 2 Kevinlongisland 3 DoubleDub 12 Fireman 33 Grover 54 AZVader 68 Minitrucker 33 Paranoid56 200 (DNF) SR5Dave DNF WRMorrison DNF Nick DNF Last edited by kevinlongisland; 04-03-2005 at 09:09 PM. |
