good luck guys the first one's always a little sketchy, but don't worry yourselves too much. I know when we held our first one we had no idea what we were getting into, but besides me making the courses a little on the long side, everything went pretty smooth. |

the only thing i would suggest is that you sit down and read through the rules extensively... you will be amazed how easily one can get confused on scoring the first time out, hell we still have to go to the rules guy on occasion for "clearification" on some stuff. |

Other then that, it ran great, and I drove well. I was in 2nd untill I had to leave early because it was my 2 year anni with the GF\ The losi's hooked up insanely too, everyone was shock to see how little wheel spin, if any, I had. -Mike | |

here are some more pics I took. Mik'e browncj8 was killer with those Losi's, I think if he didnt have to leave and those glitches he might have given me a run. I don't know where i came from but I pulled some crazy runs outta my butt with my BMVii, I will never drive that well ever probably. Thanx to Doug and Ryan for doing a great job on our first comp, and having great trophies and plaques for prizes. As for the terrain Mt. Garrett is a sweet place to crawl, trail running and comp crawling. We have a tenative date for comp #2 Sept 30th, so if you wanna come check it out and our club GSRCRC come on out. pics............ |
