| PARC, Phoenix Arizona May 8th Event
Well, it's up to you guys if you want may 8th to be a get-together or comp. place your votes. also, we can do the peak at south mountain. it may be cooler up there at almost 3000 feet. but it's a 10 minute or so drive up to the top. but the terrain is pretty killer up there. just hope no one has a bad 3000ft rollover!!!!!!!! |

I think a get together would be better. Cause alot of people talked last weekend about swaping tires and trying diff. set ups. JMO

Since I am not much competition and barley made it through the first gate with the best crawler money can buy, I vote get together What do you guys think about getting together up in Flagstaff, Sedona, or somewhere in between? We could just crawl up and down the Grand Canyon for a true test of skill |

WEll I voted for a comp but I like to idea of playing around at the top of the mountain better. Lets do that, I dont mind the drive to the top. Id like to set up a gettogether sooner than the 8th as well, maybe next weekend on saturday or sunday?

I'd like to come, but we have our final race and banquet for our winter points series so me and my two sons can't make it. But we do want too come down any other time if it's under 100 degrees!

| The 7th sounds great. I called the LHS today, and they said that they're next 1/10 scale truck race/show was probably going to be on the 1st. I really want to make to show off my crawlers to some people, and the LHS wants as many of us crawlers to be there to try and spark some interest in the locals. They also want to know if I (we, if anyone decides to join me) can put on some sort of demonstration. I may even build a truck to sell there. Every time I bring one of mine in there for parts, I quickly get a large cluster of "groupies"... Everyone's like, "Wow, what's that?!". When I show them what it can do, they're all but stupified. Is there anyone else in the Mesa area that would like to, or can, join me there? I hate to be the only crawler there. LMK, maybe we can set up some sort of impromptu "course". |

| Update: Just talked to them today, and they REALLY want us there. It's Sunday, May 1st @ 10:00AM - 2:00PM. It's starting earlier now to try and beat some of the afternoon heat. I'm definitely going to be there, and would really appreciate anyone else that could come and bring their crawlers with 'em. Also, can anyone help me build/construct a temp. course? I need some ideas on how to build one that can be relatively easy to assemble and tear down. Rich How about it everyone? Jay, Kev, Rusty, Steve, Josh, AZVader, etc. (not trying to leave anyone out... ) By the way, the address is: D&D Hobbies 6247 E. i'll try to make it. some cinder blocks would work good. my buddy back on LI took a big sheet of plywood and screwed a bunch of wood blocks into it. it worked good, but our trucks now would'nt have much difficulty on that type of section. i could also bring my laptop and play some videos. that worked out well at the r/c show at spectrum mall a couple months back. |

| I'd appreciate it Kev. I could use the help with the course. You can also better answer the questions about the TCS Xtreme that are bound to come up. |
