How tall are your guys' tires for the pajero's and such? I have some TC's that I was going to sell, but maybe I'll keep the TA02, only problem is I don't want to spend any money on tires, and I only have some rally block tires (super hard) and some buggy nubbed ones that fit mini rover wheels which are a 1/4" larger: http://img220.exs.cx/img220/1681/img07695ul.jpg I guess I don't have a truck body, but I do have a toyota corrola rally car body. |

These are just under 3 1/2" tall x 1 5/16" wide, they are off a Tamiya Blazing Star which is pretty much the same tire. They are mounted on HPI touring car rims.

also i think it'd be great if we ran on more dirt and mud instead of rocks. we could do some rocks too, but i think these trucks are better suited to dirt and mud. besides, we have big rigs for the rocks. i like the rules too, makes it more fun. now i just need to find a kit. |

Ok, yeah, these are smaller than those tires, so it shouldn't be a problem. Hmm.... now whether I want to build another RC....

If we allow you to run these, what to keep the Utah guys from finding some old discontinued set of 1.9" mashers? This is one drawback to having a spec class.

No prob, I like the idea of a spec class. Like Bender said, lets quit seeing who can spend the most time and money on their crawler and see who can drive.

the reason it says you need to servos is so you can run the stock MSC. Any ESC is fine. I have a stock tamiya one for now, and it will go into my backup trails rig, but I ordered a rooster for my main one. The tamiya one is alright, but it is double pump reverse, meaning you hit reverse the first time and it is the brakes, hit it again for reverse. Plus this one likes to shut down when you bind the axles. Hey PWT, I may end up with an extra set of stock wheels and tires, I'll let you borrow them if you decide to run with us ;) |

another question: can we modify the 4-link on the Pajero or does it have to stay stock? also, can we shave off some plastic for more travel on the A-Arms? and can we remove things like the giant bumper on the toaureg? if we can't i understand, just wanna be on the same page. |

S-10 and F150 are the same, touareg has a solid rear axle, same as pajero, but I am pretty sure the pajero has been discontinued. So it's up to you do you want ifs and irs, or ifs and solid? I couldn't see spending the extra $40 to have a solid rear. |
