looks like it's the TA01 chassis, and judging by the tires and width i'd say it's the Hummer with a different body.

the ESC is probly just the standard tamiya esc that comes with the touareg.

Default Alright Bitches!!

I got my trials rig in the mail yesterday, almost finished with the assembly. I just need to get the winch worked out, I ruined a Futaba 3003 trying to convert it.

I'm digging this rig so far, good approach angle. The dogbones are ALL steel, so I don't think I'll need any CVD's either.

Here's a pic from the ad.

Sweet, get it done!

I have about 15 servos hanging in my garage, when I went to make my winch I messed a couple up before getting it right with a 3003. The 3003 worked good for about 90% of the stuff I did, but on a hard pull it would stall out. I have since bought a new 645MG to handle the winch duties. Just need to find some time to mod it and install it.

I'm thinking about buying a 645MG for the winch too. I'll just buy another 3003 for the steering. I'll be taking it camping this weekend, to break it in.

how'd u guys ruin servos? i converted a 645MG my first try, easy as pie.

i ordered a couple pairs of TL-01 dogbones (upgraded from stock S-10 bones) and so far i haven't broken any. i changed from a mag mayhem to a lathe motor and upgraded the string in my winch. oh and enhanced the cosmetics of my truck with a sharpie, spare tire, left-over HPI Bronco/Emaxx/Savage/misc decals.
