I volunteer anyway I can to help this one along. i've mailed Pinch and he'll let me know how y'all do these RC crawls...I've only competed full scale. I've got a rather large RC pile, but i've just got a Max Force for my first didicated crawler. It'll be done in time, but not modded much. I look foward to meeting you guys and seeing the rigs working!

Well Pinch and myself will be hitting Moab this weekend to scout out our location. We will get all the hotel and location details together first thing next week (if I don't get suckered into working on Sunday). Shortly after we will have the official flyer.

if you have a moterhome or camping traver or tent i say canyonlands rc part is the best in moab! its right across from burger kings and the local therter

I am 80% sure I will be there. Unfortuantely my buddy may need me to help put the finishing touches on his wedding proposal plan...not really a bummer, but still I would rather be in Moab.

As for weather R3K... It could be hot but I think it may be in the low 80s high 70s. Thats what the local weatherman says... but they arn't always right. Right now it is 82 deg. So we can only hope for a drop. weather.com only has a 10 day forcast but Thurday the 23rd says High 83 deg. low 50 deg. so it may be very pleasant temp on Saturday and Sunday.

I still may just tell him this is your wedding, and I need to crawl, and see just how good the truck is in Moab. It's Moab, I gotta be there!

Hey I heard that there was a comp in Moab?

So lets get a running list going of who will be showing up. So far we have:

KevinLongIsland (damn that name is too long)

Who else is in?

The competition is being sponsered by:

WorldClass Models in Orem, UT
West Valley Hobbies in WVH, UT
and good old UTRCRC (We will be donating one of the V2 Chassis to the first place winner)

1st, 2nd and 3rd place will recieve some killer gifts. We will tenatively be running 2 courses with 10 gates each (we can then crawl for fun or hold more comp courses if wanted) Pinch and myself will be competing for fun but our scores will NOT count towards placement.

We will start the comp on Saturday at 11AM with signups from 9-11AM.

Pinch and Myself will plan on being at Eddie McStiffs (pizza and beer) on Friday night at about 7ish, so meet us there if you get a chance for some dinner and shooting the bull.

We'll see you all there. If you have any questions, lets us know.
