| What will the course look like?
I would be interested in knowing what the course is going to be like. How long is the run? Are you going with 1 course 2 runners? Is the course a steep climb? Is the course going to have climb areas or just a steep fast run? |

Will anyone be there that will have a laptop and a Castle Link? I need to set my Castle BEC.....forgot to have JRH do it. If there is I'll install my BEC, if not I'll pull the voltage regulator out of my GC-1. |

I was actually thinking on raising the WB length to 14" just to see more people out with differant rigs, I know Kris' RR is around 14" You can run whatever you like, me personally I am at 12-12.5 depending. I really don't think wheelbase or speed will win these, it will be about driver as always. |

| Thanks guys, I appreciate it. I just don't want to spend the money for the Castle link right now. Quote:
I agree, nothings gonna make up for not being able to control your rig or pick the right lines.

While it isn't necessary to build a new truck for rock racing, does anyone have any build threads? I'm interested in this type of build since I can't really make it to comps near me and I can still "bash" with a crawler similar setup. can't wait to see pics! |

I'm excited about this rock racing series. I hope they find the right blend of speed and technical rock crawling so that it doesn't go the way of a lot of other RC versions. I'm feeling this could be a great national addition.

| SHA-BAM! I'm going to kick some butt with my 15 year old Reedy 27t roar legal stock motor. I've been preserving it for just the right occasion. |

| SHA-BAM!! Sacrificed both sides of a 645 gear and a tlt rodend blasting around and doing some tricks with the fellas up @ RR this afternoon/evening...Man does it get dark early:-( Got me to thinking about robbing some steering componenets off the super and maybe buying a voltage regulator. 4ws and big wheelspeed Good thing we've got spares My nose heavy setup worked ok...but just a couple adjustments with weight and balancing everything out would make it better for sure. It sure finds it's wheels easier when they spin 2x what I'm used to And we need more voltage here Cap'n The 6cell stick pack isn't cutting it |

| I can't miss this one. Geared up the Red Devil for speed, but now it has no power. truck is just to heavy for the small GWS 2215 motor. Oh well, I will do what I can. And my G/F is ready to kick azz with her WK. If you saw how she was driving at the summer finals, you know all of you are in big trouble. |
