I'm interested. I just need to find a baby siter for the little one. If we do the old lady and I will be there. It's only 4 hours.

Cole82 01-05-2008 04:55 PM

Do you have pics of the coarse?

jetboat 01-05-2008 05:44 PM

all the pics I have can be found here: http://s213.photobucket.com/albums/c...8/HT%20course/

Its a nice course, no where near as big as an outdoor but, we used every bit of space the store had to spare. There are allot of different lines to run so it should be fun.

Cole82 01-05-2008 08:28 PM

What is that upper part made out of?

Mnster 01-05-2008 08:40 PM

I'll be there..

Cole has a kid??

Devience 01-05-2008 08:48 PM

Ced RC 01-05-2008 10:45 PM

I'll be there. No Super's? :-(
Looks like it's time to build a 2.2 rig.
We are working on putting together an indoor course at our shop in Franklin, WI (suburbs of Milwaukee) just FYI, when we have something together we will be having an indoor comp, I'll post more detail soon.

Mnster 01-05-2008 11:00 PM

:lol:I hate 2.2's always have, I've just never been successful competing with them. They are always so loose and unbalanced. If you need to borrow a rig chances are my brother won't make it and you could use his.

jetboat 01-06-2008 07:55 AM

The 2.2 limitation is because supers would walk all over the course. The upper section is my own creation of wood frame with chicken wire (like I did my personal test course) then covered with rosin paper then finally coated with about 1/2" of sandcrete. We have added extra sand in some areas and made others slick, while still others have amazing traction. Its realy deceiving when you look at the pictures.

Thx! I'm actually gonna try to put together an AX10 this week, we have enough stuff in stock to put one together, should be challenging in this timeframe, but I live for challenges! This will be my first comp, I will surely give everyone something to laugh at! :D Looking forward to it, thx again Mnster! "thumbsup"

I did a pretty good job didnt I ????? How many times did you hear "its a crawler course, not a trainset" or "when will this thing be done?" You'll notice I never say I...always We. Besides...if people dont like it I need someone to take the heat (aint I nice)

Anyway...how late are you willing to stay and let people crawl? Some are coming from a good distance and might want to get their drives worth. Mike gave me the 1-5 timeframe.

carcrafter 01-08-2008 02:35 PM

Lets do this thing!

Alright I have been waiting for this. I knew that this indoor course would be a good thing! Sign me up, cause it is about time for me to blow the dust off the AX10. The question is "What scale truck is Mnster gonna bring?" My Scout will be in attendance for the no pressure scale running too.

bubbaracing 01-08-2008 02:59 PM

Hey Zack how early y'all gonna be there? I'll try to come a little earlier to help if needed, and to meet y'all to put a face to the names! "thumbsup" I can't wait to see your scout and carcrafter's too! Scouts are awesome! "thumbsup"

Matt :)
