Next Comp -- Sunday June 1

CTRC's (www.ctrockcrawlers.com) next comp will be Sunday June 1.

This comp is scheduled to be held at Castle Craig in Meriden, CT. This a great location with a great view. Check back here and the club's forums for more information. As always, this event is open to anyone.

We will be having a 2.2 class, but if demand warrents it, we will add Super. Most likely we will run 2.2 and follow with a GTG, so bring all your crawling rigs.

Tech and sign ups will start at 10:15 AM.

If you can't find information on Castle Craig, look for Hubbard Park in Meriden, CT. The "castle" is located at the top of Hubbard Park.

FROM 91S EXIT 18 FROM 91/15N EXIT 68W AND GET ON 691 WEST IN MERIDEN AND GO TO EXIT 4 TAKE A LEFT GO DOWN HILL ABOUT 1/2 MILE ENTRANCE TO PARK IS FIRST LEFT.

FROM 84 EAST TAKE EXIT 27 ONTO 691 EAST IN CHESHIRE TOWARDS MERIDEN AND GO TO EXIT 4 TAKE A RIGHT GO DOWN HILL ABOUT 1/2 MILE ENTRANCE TO PARK IS FIRST LEFT.

ONCE IN THE PARK POND WILL BE ON RIGHT GO ALL THE WAY AROUND POND TO STOP SIGN THEN GO STRAIGHT PASSED THE POOL TO NEXT STOP SIGN TAKE LEFT AND GO TOWARDS THE GATE UNDER THE BRIDGE GO THROUGH GATE AND FOLLOW ROAD ALL THE WAY UP TO THE CASTLE AS YOU APROACH THE CASTLE THERE WILL BE A ( Y ) IN THE ROAD GO LEFT AND YOUR THERE.

Keep in mind this comp is on a Sunday. A GTG will follow the comp, so bring it all!

All are welcome; you don't have be a club member and you don't have to be part of the point series. This is a great location and fairly central--easy to get to off I91.

This comp is less than two weeks away.

It will be the 4th event in CT Rock Crawler's point series, but you do not have to be participating in the series to run in this comp.

ill be there. this is a great location with tons of rock. it does get very windy so bring your jackets. there is a gtg after so bring your scalers/supers and everything else (please no nitros). see you there.

if there is heavy rain i will post up here to cancel, but so far i think the weather looks good.

The comp is on and the weather looks good for Sunday. Saturday looks nasty, so it turns out to be a good thing we scheduled a comp on a Sunday.

There is a gate at the bottom of the road that goes up to the castle, so if you get there early, wait at the closed gate.
