Default Connecticut (NERCC) crawl 8-13-05

Saturday, August 13th (in CT) has been confirmed for the next NERCC crawl. We will be crawling in Shelton and in Waterbury. 35 minute drive between the 2 spots, and maybe a lunch break in-between. The Waterbury location is on a riverbed that is usually almost entirely dry. Unless we get a large amount of rainfall between now and the 13th, it will still be on. Our meetingplace will be at Howard Johnson's on South Main Street in Waterbury at 10:00 AM.

So, anybody up for it?

If I can get my TLT crawler up and running by than I'd really like to join you guys if you don't mind, I just can't seem to find a good setup with bruiser framerails, I don't get anywhere near the amount of articulation I would need. I'll let you know soon.

Default NERCC Crawl

Craig & I will be attending, let me know if there's anything we need to bring.
Looking forward to checking out the “River” and Rich's place.

Bigjay, I'll email directions to you if you need them. The location is right off of Route 8. Good luck with that first crawl, hope you can make it!

And uh, wonderful.... You might want to rethink that. There is going to be 2 shafties running Moabs. They are THE BEST tire ever!!! Period!!! They make even my JUNK stick to rocks!!! Then there is that other shaftie with tires the size of your whole truck. Be afraid. Not even peace and love can save you! Have you forgotten about Craig's Clod? Oh ya, he's running big tires too!

oh, yeah. I forgot about craig. Then maybe i'll have to get the "Stick" and some moabs for myself! Then there will be no stopping the clod!

Just got back.. everything works so I'll be there. If someone could PM me directions from one of the major highways I can find my way. I ride MTB up there a few times a year. Looking forward to it.

Wonderful, only one getting served around here is a little white truck named "peace and love". The server is a TXT with Pro-Line Moabs!!! Your truck can't compete untill you run those tires. The crawl is on the 13th, so you have plenty of time to get the apropriate competition tires.

Yep, that was before the Moabs!!!!!!! My truck will crawl upside-down now!! Know what the most effective cure for bad driving is??? Ha??? Yep, that's right, CLODS!! Wonderful, you had better get yourself some big tires if you want to keep up at all on the 13th. There is stuff out here that will swallow your truck, and then swallow you when you go in to chase it!

Well, its a good thing that rich is gonna lend me his Savage tires for next week. I may just hide in these holes, and then jump up and grab your truck when it gets near. Hmmm, yeah. Thats what i'll do. And then after i have your truck, i'll return to my hole, and have my way with it

Jim, we don't mind. I'll bring my TL-Bruiser.
