Default Rock Island Test and Tune

Figure the weather is getting good enough for the official announcement:

EVERY SUNDAY starting 5/3/09 opening 12:00 NOON

Open Test and Tune (no cost)

I'll have some pics of the current layout soon.

Rock formations may be modified to crawlers needs. If you want to see just how steep an incline she'll climb or sidehill hold, we can accomodate. Many different rock types, able to handle all three competitive classes.

Power for charging batteries and tables and chairs for workspace (we're a little short on chairs)

hope to see you on the rocks

Pm for directions

If we get enough Scale rigs we could try a scramble run? Everyone runs together for 4 minutes, most laps wins?!?

I've got burgers and hot dogs. If anyone would like to bring some chips or sodas that would be awesome. See you all tomorrow!

Thanks to all that made it. Wade - always good to meet great people!. Tom - You better get that 2.2 ready- one week to go. Yeah. Carl destroys his tranny one week out but it's not going to count toward the point series?!?! Here are a few pics I got today. Again, Rock Island is only as good as the people crawling! Almost forgot Ray trumps in with the Losi- ready to lay the smack down! And I'm still running TLT's!?!?!?!

Curt thanks for the burgers and the hospitality. Wade glad to meet you and see you this Saturday. Carl love the inch worm, I think it needs some sort of brace. Tim and Dave always a pleasure. Tom glad to see you again and hope your first outing with your 2.2 is a pleasurable one. Robbob glad you got the Losi, still working on the setup. Needs more tuning a Curt's place, parts are coming. Curt see you soon and all the others see you Saturday and keep it safe.
