Default July 10th - 2.2 and Scale Yantic Falls (Indian Leap)

The next Comp is around the corner and will be held at Yantic Falls in Norwich CT.

This will be a Comp for both the 2.2 and SCALE classes.

Tech/registration - 9:00 - 9:30

Drivers meeting - 9:45

Comp starts at 10:00

I will get the directions up soon.

Yantic Falls (Indian Leap) offers free Parking and spectacular views of 100' waterfalls. There is a short (5 minute) walk to the comp location.

Trail Head Directions

From the end of the highway portion of Route 2 / 32 in Norwich, head south (take a right- this will bring you in front of Backus Hospital) on Washington Street. Continue south on Washington Street (Route 2/32) and stay to the right at a fork in the road at a park. Shortly you will come to Sachem Street (.7 miles from highway Route 2). Take a right onto Sachem Street. Continue .2 miles and take a left onto Yantic Street. Follow Yantic Street for .1 miles to a sharp left hand corner. Parking is in a small dirt lot on the right..

Not for you.

Just have to resize and upload at home

Want to say thanks to all you BC guys for coming down. The competitiveness and fun was in top notch.

Course 1 really played the mind trick from setup to actual running of it. We knew it was tight and technical but never expected it to bite back lol. Course 2 seemed like the opposite, easy flow with some smooth throttle spots then bang ........ a drop down that wasnt forgiving for some.

Seeing the movement in scores with guys moving up and down and having it come down to the thrid course was exciting.

Congrats to Dan though .......... Bringing it home with a 20pt spread over second place.

And Congrats to Matt for throwing his LCC into the top 3, really stepping it up keeping the shafties proud.

Great job to everyone both Scaler and Pro ............... Hope everyone enjoyed the location and comp.
