Default Coastline Showdown - May 6th - 2.2 Pro & Sportsman

Ready for some coastline rumbles?

Well we are and are taking you to Branford Point, CT.

Due to the State of CT changing their seasonal dates and raising parking prices we had to move our annual Lighthouse visit. We just couldnt justify having people pay upwards of 30$ to park and visit a state park.

May 6th, 2012
2 Pro & Sportsman
Driver Reg and Tech @ 9:00am
First Course @ 9:30am sharp

We will be running 3 Pro course's with 2 Sportsman. We will start Pro first and feed Sportsman drivers into the run orders. We hope this will give the day a smooth flow and keep people moving.

From the East: Take I-95 South to exit 54. Turn left onto Cedar Street and follow for .7 miles. Turn right at the end of Cedar Street onto Main Street and travel .1 mile to Kirkham Street. Turn left onto Kirkham Street and follow for .5 miles. Then turn left onto Harbor Street and follow .8 miles to its end.

From the West: Take I-95 North to exit 53. Turn slightly to the right onto the Branford Connector and follow for .6 miles. Next, make a slight right onto West Main Street heading West for an extremely short distance to the next stop light. Then turn left onto Short Beach Road and follow for .4 miles. Turn left onto Stannard Avenue and proceed .6 miles, at which point one can turn right onto Harbor Street. Follow Harbor Street .3 miles to its end.

Hope to see everyone there.

Heh, If you hiked to the top of that hill you were at you probably could have seen the parking lot from where you were. Did you at least get some good shots of Boston?

I saw a Mounty pass me on a horse I was so far north.

We got passed by a farm tractor ........... Twice

I think I heard Nickleback playing their hometown in the distance

But it was definatly a spot worth the walk

Thanks to everyone who made it out and the drive. For a small plot of rock Branford point for sure packs a punch. Look away for a moment or pick the wrong line and it can cost ya.

Great driving to everyone, that stuff is nasty.

Thanks for posting the scores up Curt. I checked our site and didnt see any problem. Let me know if you still cant login. Maybe try clearing cookies?

Ill have some pics and a write up in the next couple days.

Thanks again to everyone who made it out and welcome to a couple new faces. Adrian and Luke hope to see more of ya, nice driving.
