Default July 22nd CT Scale Championship - Summer Bash
ROCK ISLAND Management, in conjunction with ECRCCrawlers, is proud to announce the first annual
Connecticut Summer Bash Scale/Wraith Championship

This will be a Scale and Wraith Comp

Location : Rock Island CT
334 Scotland Rd
Norwich CT 06360
Drivers cost:- $5
Trophies will be awarded to the winners of each class
Lunch will be provided

Tech and driver check in - 9:00 am - 9:30
Drivers meeting - 9:45
Comp starts at 10:00

Due to the format of the comp, no late entries will be allowed.
Partners will be utilized on at least one course for the scale drivers.

Wraith drivers can expect anything from rock racing to circle/rock track.

Free parking
Free electricity
Please post if you will be attending!

Rock Island management is going out of its way to ensure a top notch scale driving experience. Pictures of the comp site will be posted within the next two days.

Just bumping this - only two weeks to go - new camera as of last night- so pics will be up soon. Hope everyone can make it! If the Skinner Mtn and Lincoln woods guys can make it this could be one of the best Scaler days of the summer. Burgers will be supplied, free parking, free electricity
I would also like to tell everyone to bring their for sale and trade stuff! We'll see everyone on July 22nd! feel freel to bring tables, ez-ups etc. We'll have the grill going so any food items people want to bring

Here are some pictures...got to admit they don't do it justice. On the day of the comp we'll have wooden bridges and the suspension bridge will be a true "suspension" bridge. Hope to see you all here. Please post up if you will attend!

Rebuilding Georges motor tonight, tidying up some wiring, mounting shocks and putting panels on.

Maybe a couple of other things too

August 26th -> Burr Pond Scale & Wraith

Plus October always brings the Kreepy Krawl to Rock Island


I know the feeling. I havent really done anything with the scalers the last year or so but still wanna hit Skinner again. Its usually a comp day or after a double weekend and the wife looks at me funny when I mention it.

But I did manage to hit my goal, under 4lbs with a body and gained a half inch static wheelbase.

Now for some more practice and no rain. Lol
