| 2012-2013 ECRC Winter Indoor Series The Creators to CT's Indoor Rock Crawling Winter series is back!!! Well its that time again, temps are dropping, leaves are changing colors and we're going inside. ECRC Crawlers is proud to announce its Third Annual Winter Series hosted at R/C Madness in Enfield, CT This year we will be running the usual 2.2 Pro and Sportsman Classes. All rules will follow 2012 USRCCA print, we will not change over to 2013 should anything change after the first of the year. Complete and current USRCCA rules can be found here: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/rules...012-rules.html *NOTE* - We will be using the USRCCA rules for 2.2s as our guide to the Sportsman class. *Special Note* - We will NOT be requiring Sportsman rigs to run a body this season. For 2012/13 winter series we will allow Bodiless rigs. Those rigs still will have to follow all bodiless rules and measurements. Series will consist of 6 events - we will drop 1. Each class will run 2 courses per event. Drivers will have to pick which class they run for the day. We dont limit drivers to classes, its your choice as long as the truck falls into the rules. Due to time and space we can not allow multiple classes per driver. Your score for that day will go towards that class series. *Track opens @ 9:00am* *Reg and Tech will be 10:00am - please be there early if possible -again time and space are the concerns.* *Course 1 will kick off at 10:30am sharp* This year R/C Madness began expanding into the indoor scale class. The area we gained last year has been changed over to scale with a possibility to be used for Sportsmans. We will run the Pro rigs on the right side, where we originally started. We will try and work the Sportsman trucks into the same area. Being prompt and ready to roll will help assure all drivers get their time on the rocks. We dont want to see anyone not have fun or get a fair chance at competeing. If we see the growth as we saw last year then we will use the scale area as Sportsman. Our goal is to provide a challenging but fun sportsman class. We trully believe this class is the growth of the hobby, the club and our outdoor seasons. We also dont want to take from the level of competition the Pro rigs bring. We will do everything we can to bring the best challenges every event. The club truly loves seeing the limits get pushed by every driver and the amazing things they can do. Schedule: November 18 December 16 January 13 February 3 February 24 March 10 As normal our winter series is pay per event. We do this for 2 reasons and none are to benefit the club but to solely benefit the drivers. $10.00 per event. R/C Madness is nice enough to provide us with the space and electricity. We give half of every drivers fee to the track and have been more then thankful for it. The other half go's into the clubs bank for trophies and other items. Our summer series is free to everyone, our winter series allows us to do this for everyone. We are looking forward to another great winter season. The last 2 years we have met new friends, seen some amazing trucks, watched drivers gain knowledge and abilities. The sport and club has grown and brought some new people to something they didnt know was around. As always as well - R/C Madness has its indoor off road track always open while we are there. If you're into the Slash's and other short course trucks you'll love this place. We would reccomend picking up the track schedule for thier trophy races. Always a great time and on sight hobby shop. Give them a call anytime: 860-741-6501 Get ready - we've given you a month off but now its time to do this again! |

Drivers who is ready? This is coming up ...... Sunday is it ....... Who's gonna bank the first comp as a win? Area had been completely redone. Big boulders moved, floor space utilized, rumpus areas increased. All those lines we used last year have been erased. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2 |

Is this an event where you have to join right at the first event or can you go on the dates that are assigned? I missed the first event due to a family event.

Here are the Results! Big shout to NAte our only Sportsman competitor so he gets the win!! Hope everyone enjoyed the courses - things were pretty close all day! Thanks for putting the courses together Curt. Was nice to hang out and put the rig through it's paces. Got home just before the ice/snow too.
