OCK and Rock Island SPRING FLING!!

I'm trying to convince my girlfriend to come with me. I offered to buy her a truck. She's not feeling it.

This will be my wife's first event . I hope you can change her mind . She won't be the only woman driver there.

Well, I was unable to attend the BC comp (I had the kids and my 4yr old daughter was very VERY against the 2+hr drive and no playground) so I worked on getting Rock Island ready for May 3rd. Did some work on the waterfall area. Sorry no before picks.

It's just around the corner... Let the trash talk begin. Lots of improvements for all classes. Be sure to bring a chair!

And remember Rock Island is always open.

I only came out of retirement because I beat Stan twice in touring car and now I can make parts

Practiced on wed and I must say rock island is reborn I lot of work has happened its been opened up to make it easier to walk threw and the water fall is nice for comping and laid out for scale . Grip also seemed better then I rember . I know curt plans on burning some rocks to remove the green mossy stuff

Tuned the rig and ready to light the fuse and watch the bomb implode

A message from Rock Island Management -

Rock Island has undergone its final expansion and is officially open for the crawling season, and more importantly our annual Spring Fling. Please remember the following

1. To ensure your comfort and enjoyment we recommend you bring
Table/chairs
Sunscreen
Insect repellent

2. For planning purposes please post up and indicate which class or classes you will be running (if you know someone else is coming - let us know)

3. Food - The propane grill will be available if you would like to bring your own grillables. Also, local food establishments are within a five minute drive.

Pancakes will be served until 8:30

4. Please be prompt - we are expecting a large crowd
