Krazed Builds is proud to announce that ECRC Crawlers will be bringing the 2.2RS Class to their events for 2016!



What is 2.2RS ???

2.2 Ready Stock .................

A few years ago ECRC Crawlers brought you the SLO (shafty limited only) class before there was a shafty only class. Now they are looking at hosting another new class.

The 2.2RS is exactly like it sounds - Ready Stock. This is the east coast setting up a box stock entry level class for new comers. Just as the rest of the hobby world has classes formed to bring those new comers and lock them all into a level playing field, now felt like a good time to bring it to the crawling world too.

ECRC has joined to help and host it for the upcoming year of 2016 and possibly some during a winter season.

Lets see how we can help them promote this - Lets get those new faces and welcome them to the fun!

Great job on rules set.
3.0 - Chassis:

*a3 - Only chassis' included with kit

*b3 - No modified aftermarket vendor chassis' allowed

*c3 - No modification (cutting/adding/manipulating) of the original chassis'

*d3 - All hardware must be of original style and material - no Aluminum/Titanium/Special types allowed

Question on rule # *d3 what if a guy bought the kit below that has aluminum links?

It's not on approved vehicle list so this vehicle cannot compete? correct?


4.0 - Suspension (including but not limited to Shocks and Links):

*a4 - Only kit included shocks - *springs may be changed

*b4 - Only kit included suspension links

Nevermind I think # a3 & b4 answered my question a guy would be allowed to run a Redcat crawler with aluminum links & chassis.

Correct - not on the list cant compete. Locally we wouldn't turn them away Im sure but points and series it wouldn't count.

Cant see the ebay link from work so don't know which one that is. Hopefully the list will increase of vehicles though as more run it and (fingers crossed) other vehicles fitting the shafty style pop up.

Now that I can see that listing I have to say it will get added to the list. It meets all the class rules.

Looking good Robbob! Can't wait to see how it turns out. I really think this will be the key to getting new guys into crawling.

I'm thinking of keeping one Box Stock on hand, whether or not one of the hobby shops around here has one.
Also thinking I could set up an old rig that guys could use for their first comp.

Not sure if this helps or not ,But there is 4 or 5 losi crawlers for sale at Madness .
I am not sure if they are night crawlers or comp crawlers tho
