You have to look on the R/C Madnes scale truck club Facebook page for info . It is the last comp of the winter series ..doors open at 9:00 drivers meeting by 10:00 . Class 1 4.19 tire and smaller . Class 2 4.20 to 4.75" max must be a scale truck with Scale chassis or atleast 50% of one left if a tuber . . No 4ws
$10 per class . 2 seperate courses for both classes .

Some of us dont have facebook. I opened an acount once and didnt even put my name on it anywhere. Within 24hrs I had a friend request from my crazy ex gf. Its not worth the fight with my wife. Im sure there are others that only use this forum and not facebook. Please post up events here too if you think of it.

Hey guys, long time RC madness customer and RC driver, looking to maybe get into the crawling game. If I picked up the Scx10 DEADBOLT, would that be able to run with you guys on the course? I like the $300 price point on the deadbolt (after just dropping $900 on my Xmaxx lol). The Scx10 II looks good also, but it seems to be on backprder for a while.

Hey guys, I am getting myself back into the RC game and just ordered a scale rig to add to my collection of RC cars, planes, helicopters and quads. I used to race touring cars at RC Madness about 17 years ago. Looking forward to getting into the scale crawling and trail running. Should be a good way to fill the void of not having a 1:1 off-roader any more.

Seems most ct guys are central and eastern ct. I'm in Brookfield. If there are events or really just trailing nearby I would be in.

I ended up with the ECX Barrage as a budget start. Of course I have already added a rack with lights, a winch, shackles, and a 2nd set of wheels/tires. You can see my progress here: First scaler

You are right in a great spot to check out The Hobby Hangout in New Milford. They have a nice indoor rock crawling course, and weekly runs. In fact, I believe tonight (Thursday) is the crawling event night.

I had also heard that and visited that shop last week. I honestly walked all around and didn't seem to find a course. Plenty of outdoor racetracks, but didn't see a rock crawling course. Maybe I missed it

Hi fellow CTers. Getting back into RC after being away for awhile. Bought a Traxxas Stampede for my 5yr old daughter and myself to have fun with. Looking to buy a trail/crawler rig soon. Most likely an Ascender.

I haven't been there in a few years. Used to watch the guys doing some insane helicopter flying.

Is the CT Scaler FB group dead? Their last public post was almost a year ago.

CT Yankee I think we crossed paths over at the RCSparks forum before. I wasn't into crawlers then but I just bought myself a ECX Barrage too to try it out. Excited about it and it's arriving in a couple of days. Will give your build thread a quick read.

This thread has been dead, but my friend and I are back in the trailing and crawling game. I added a Vaterra Ascender to my line up, and my friend got a TRX4 Bronco as his first trail/crawl truck. We are in the Naugatuck/Middlebury area and looking for others to get out with. We also have bashers, drifters, and speed builds going.

I am on Instagram and YouTube as @203_rc_hobbyists and 203 RC Hobbyists.
