East Coast RC Crawlers / Boston Crawlers 2017 Joint Outdoor Series


Hey Everyone,

After a chatting last year with one of the CT organizers we thought it would be good, or at least interesting :mrgreen: to try a joint season with hopes that more comp crawlers get together for fun on the rocks. So...... How's it going to work?

We will have one event per month starting in April and locations will rotate between CT, MA, and RI. In an effort to encourage people to support the larger events 2 of them will be included in the points, The Monster Showdown, and the Northeast Nats Championship. Hopefully everyone can attend each event but we will be dropping each drivers lowest score in the final points total. As a way to encourage drivers to get out there and hit all the events we will be doing something exciting for the top 2 drivers of Mod and Shafty at the end of the year.

Emphasis will be on the Mod Class and Shafty class, but we will accommodate those who are new to crawling with a run what ya bring class. We will also be open to Mini or Super class crawling IF there are at least 3 vehicles and people willing to build courses and judge.


This years Dates and Locations are as follows. Locations will be filled in soon but this will let you keep the date free at least. If there is a weather problem we will do our best to adjust and accomodate.

Awesome!! Looking forward to this season! We will also be doing the 3rd annual cash days comp in October, not sure if you want to add that to the points part of the series or just have it as a separate comp.

Any information care to be shared on the crawling community's website???

Not everyone uses Face book or even wants to be on it. Be nice to see some promotion/talk up about CT comping on RCCrawler.

Ditto!! I'm not even on Facebook or care to join really. I've been checking here and haven't seen anything about upcoming comps.
Posting on RCCrawler would help out a ton!

Oh hell yea!! I'm in the rest of the season! Had a lot of shit I had to take care of at the beginning of the season but now I'm ready to go! Unpracticed and ready to rip!! Lol

It was great hanging out with everyone yesterday, great weather and great rock, can't get any better than that. Per our talk at yesterdays event I have posted up the Location for the September comp. See you all in Pennsylvania in a few weeks.

Those of us that went down to PA this past weekend met up and decided that we are going to move the September comp at Rafes Chasm to Sept 24th to accommodate more people attending the event.

I will post more when the date gets closer.
