hey I was thinking about ordering a set of these for my LCC after giving up on my last couple foam set ups.

just wondering is they will need to be modified to run in a 5lb LCC with 1" custom rims?

thanks
Steven

What tires are you running?
Are the tires siped or grooved to make them softer?

More than likely, the answer is yes to your question. 5lbs is pretty lite weight. You would need to narrow the inner foam depending on the tire.

sorry I am running blue rovers stock not siped or grooved, the rig is probably a bit lighter than 5lbs, but i will be adding a little bit of weight to get it right around there.

O.T. But I have to say seeing a 7 year old drive like that and show technique and not just squeezing the trigger as hard as he can was awesome

Thank you very much for the fast shipping!

I need a little help if you don't mind. I'll be running this set of foams on the SSS I pick up this weekend. Where would I want to trim the foam to run them on a lighter rig? Would I need take some off the inside or the out side edges of the gray foams?

Save me a set for my Losi, I'll get the cash to you mid week. Thanks!!

How much does the crawler weigh RTR?

What tires are you using?

Are the tires siped or grooved?

What bead locks are you using and how wide are they?

Answer those questions and those determine any and all tuning advice.

Always trim only the inner foam width. Stock width is 2 1/4. I have trimmed them as narrow as 1 3/4 myself. Others have trimmed them even narrower.

Question for ya Eddie!

Running a .750" wide wheel, Siped Rovers at around 6.5lbs on my bully. What should I do to the foams?? Don't know that I want to trim them till I hear from ya!
