The dual stage is for 4.25" tires, the single stage foam is for the 1.9 comp tires. |

I got Nova 5.5"s mounted up with my Rover White Dots during the week and yesterday I tested them out at my LHS's Course and I must say they work an absolute treat, my tire is now full and the outer soft foam moulds to the shape of the rocks perfectly and gives me the grip I was searching for. Some of the lines I could never make with my old foams are now a walk in the park thanks Crawler Innovations Great Product! Cheers Robb. |

I just ordered a set of the 1.9 dual stage for my tsl's. Do these foams fit the stock scx10 wheel, or do they need to be trimmed/ narrowed? |

| The 1.9 dual stage will fit over the stock SCX-10 bead lock no problem. If you have any lead weights added you will have to trim the inner foam to clear the weight. The foams are 4.25 tall and fit the 1.9 TSL and Flat Iron perfectly. Thank you for your business. |

Sorry if you guys have covered this 1,000x. When you were only offering the standard dual stage foam back in the day, what foams would those be today? Med inner, soft outer? |

Ive got a heap of these foams and im really likeing the firm inner med outer with boss claws.. but with the sedonas the soft inners still are sweet, or mem ones if the temps are right will take out the bounce many would notice (not a problem in the claws)

The Original Double Deuce design is: 2.25 width inner foams firm inners soft outers So anything you ordered would have come with just those densities unless something else was specified in your order. Since the first of 2011, all sets of four have been shipping out with: 1 pair of firm inner / soft outer for the front 1 pair of firm inner / medium outer for the rear That combination has been doing very well and I have received good feedback from it. The new web site will have more options listed with popular selling items paired up already. The current web site and hosting will be deleted which is why no new products or work has been invested into it.

No problem. I know how it goes. Thanks for the clear answer. I really like what you have done with the foams. It was hard when you just sold the double deuce because sometimes I would just need a touch softer/firmer. Now with all your tuning options I hope to go exclusive with Nova foams. Coming out of winter I am thinking it could be nice to just change the firm outer for a soft outer and hopefully that will be good to go. Thanks a bunch for the great products! |

| I don't think this has been covered already. Which foams, inner and outer do you recommend for 2.2 Axial Ripsaws mounted on one inch wide wheels on an 8.5 pound scaler? . |

As for your rig: 5.5 Double Deuce Foams Front; Firm inner, 2.00 width, soft or medium outer Rear; Firm inner, 2.00 width, medium or firm outer 8.5 isn't that heavy, so you could either go with firmer foams which will break in and probably last longer but be bouncy until they have broken in for a few battery packs. Or You could go with the softer foams which will work and feel better right out of the box but might break down sooner.
