I talked with the machine shop this morning and the next run of these wheel wideners should hopefully be done by the end of the week. I will update this thread once they are in stock and on the new web site.

The new stainless steel hardware for the new wideners arrived yesterday. Once these are added to the new web site, you will be able to choose between stainless hardware for either SLW wheels or Dirty Harry wheels. The new production run of these have the mounting hole size increased to properly fit the VP DH wheel with no modification which is something the proto type run did not have. They should be finished this week. I will keep the threaded updated once they do.

These are now in production and available on the Crawler Innovation's web site. The production version has the mounting holes enlarged so they fit the Dirty Harry with no modifications. These also now include stainless steel hardware for either the SLW or the Dirty Harry bead locks. I also had a small run of .5" wideners made. A few people had asked for them in the proto type run so I went ahead and had 10 pairs made of them in the production run. They are slightly more in cost. I have not added them to the web site because I don't have the hardware for them. If you are interested in the wider version of these wheel wideners, please email me.

These are a great idea, I personally have been running my wider wheels lately after years of running narrow rims and these give you a bunch of options, good work.

I wanted to update this thread and let people know the future of this particular product. I understand many people would prefer to buy new SLW wheels, but please understand you don't gain track width with new wheels. Only wideners gain track width and allow for more hub offset tuning. The SLW wheel is flush to the face / front, so new wheels only decrease the space between them. That works great for knuckle weights, but it limits track width unless you stack VP hubs. Also, once this run of wideners is sold out, I have no plans to ever make them again. Many people only look at the bottom line cost, instead of the tuning options gained. I understand why people would buy new wheels instead. Unfortunately, the wideners are expensive to machine. Unless I did a huge run of several thousand or send them to be made over seas, the high cost is just the fact of doing small production runs in the United States. - We still have the SLW and DH2 1/4 wheel wideners in stock. - I also had some machined for the DH1 wheel. The DH1 wheel has a larger bead lock I.D. and the wideners had to be re-machined to fit. These are limited quantity and you will need to email or PM to get these since they are special order and not on the web site. - I also have 5 pairs of .500" wideners in stock just for .7 wheels. It will bring your .7 VP wheel to 1.25" width. These are limited quantity and you will need to email or PM to get these since they are special order and not on the web site. Thank you, - Eddie

Sold Out - The 1/4" width SLW and DH2 wheel wideners are sold out. - I still have a few of the 1/2" width wideners left if anyone is interested in those. There are no plans to make anymore of these at this time. If I can find a new U.S. manufacturer to make them for a much more affordable price, I will make more. But for now, this particular product is on hold for the next couple months. Thank you to all the customers that bought from the first production run
