I am very sorry about that. I did not see your comment earlier. Yes, this is a new part I am machining. It is a 5mm round to 6mm maxx shaft adapter. That way you can tighten the 4mm set screw onto you axial pinion and then bolt the Maxx shaft to the 6mm side that has the correct flat and screw pin hole in it. This way it makes for a "bolt on" conversion to upgrade to Traxxas Maxx drive shafts.

| Got any of these in stock right now? and Whats the largest spur that fits on the axial transmission with the 6mm outputs? And do you have any plans on making 8mm outputS? |

2. A 96tooth, 48 pitch spur gear is the biggest I could find and use on the Axial transmission. 3. In the next production run, an 8mm output would be possible, but it's not something I plan to stock. What end do you want on it or do you want it round with a hole in it?

| I have received interest from people only wanting the front output because they have rear digs. Who would be interested in a front shaft only? I have also received interest from people wanting the ouputs to be made in 5mm so they work with MIP or other brand shafts. Who would be interested in that? Lastly, the 5mm to 6mm flat adapter is almost done. They should be available this time next week hopefully. |

You do know that you can just install a pinion shaft and pinion gear out of a wheely king in your AX-10 axles with no mods at all, right?? Then you can just bolt up a set of Maxx shafts with no mods. Wheely king pinion shafts are 5mm and have a thru-hole, so all you do is run a Maxx tranny yoke(5mm) on the axle side and regular Maxx yoke (6mm) on the tranny side with your 6mm tranny outputs and everything just bolts right up. This way you dont need any funky adapters or anything... real slick setup. . Btw... got my outputs from you the other day.... thanks so much for making these!!... i have been waiting for someone to make these again, ever since CDW quit making them. . | The transmission outputs have sold out and a new order has been placed for more outputs. I am planning to have single outputs made for this order. So if you are reading this and prefer just a single front or rear, please post in this thread or email me directly. The 5mm to Maxx shaft adapters are finished. I will take some pictures and start a new thread for them today. |

| These have been ordered and the next run will have the 8mm shafts a few of you have asked for. I will also offer the standard 6mm outputs by themselves. For example; you will be able to purchase just the front or rear output. That way if you have a dig unit and only need the front, you can purchase it alone. |

The order is already in and I talked with the machine shop yesterday. They are still hopeful to have this next run finished by June 24th. That will be transmission shafts and adapters. I building up a stock of spur gears, yokes and drive shafts for the store as well so that everything will be in stock at the same time. Since I have my parts machined locally in East Texas, oil field work gets priority and sometimes my parts get delayed. I will keep this thread updated. Thank you for your interest in C.I. parts, - Eddie
