I got to play on these piles before ECC, and they were really well laid out, tons of transitions and climbs that were a blast. I will now be forever jealous. It was a lot of rock.

Thank you for all the kind words guys. I really appreciate all the comments and without your support of Crawler Innovations, none of this would be possible. Thank you,
- Eddie

The coolest thing about what you are doing eddie is giving the easterner texans a place to crawl that is controlable. The challenge to this sport in my mind is the property access issues. As crawling gets more popular and land owners get more liability concerned, simply being able to just walk up to a place and crawl is going to be tough. I have a great spot on our commercial property that would be perfect to lay some rocks down, I just need to do it.

Shifting gears on you, when in tyler last weekend I drove by what appeared to be an in town public park on I think Broadway. It had a great rock wall area on what apeared to be a waterfall, water feature area. Is that a place you guys crawl some?

Default Update

We are having a BBQ comp at my place on May 14th so we have been working to get the area ready. Huge THANK YOU to David H, Randal, Clay, Gavin and Lori for their help yesterday (Saturday)!!!

With their help yesterday we got so much done! We worked from 8:30AM until 8:30PM. The bobcat was monumental and without a pro like Randal driving it, we wouldn't have accomplished half of what we did. Thanks to all the hard work yesterday, everybody coming on May 14th to drive is in for a real treat. I will get some updated pictures posted tonight or Monday.

Here are some pictures from Saturday. Unfortunately we had already started working before we took pictures, but you should get an idea of what we started with. I can't say enough about the people that helped Saturday and Sunday. I am blessed to have friends like you

You can see my green pond in the far back. The G6 will be incorporating some oohy gooey green pond goodness

The burn pile was going all day and through the night. Thanks to Randal's skill, we was able to remove a cedar stump that had been by my pond for years. It smelled ssooo good as that cedar stumped burned.

Sunday afternoon Gavin and I got started moving more small fill rock down to the large piles. We filled the tractor with rock and drove it down to the big piles. It was fun for both of us. It really showed us just how skilled Randal is at driving the bobcat. There is no way we could have even done half of what we did without Randal. You are da man Randal. Thank you so much for your help this weekend brotha

This is where we stopped Saturday night and began Sunday afternoon. I also need to mention, it is crucial you wear good footwear when you come over.

We stopped working Saturday night for two reasons;
1. It was dark
and
2. We had a medium size rat snake (which is a welcome snake that resides on my property) in one large rock pile and I had to kill a 8 inch copperhead snake by the front of the shop.

We are still working on the smaller piles up close to the shop. David, Randal and Clay came up with some kick ass ideas for this area. A rope bridge will be added soon as well

This has a tunnel going under that big rock:
