Default Max shaft kit

I purchased the whole kit and wow, what a pleasure to install and run. I'm using 14-96 now and crawling is butter smooth!

Thank you for your purchase and the positive feedback. Gearing down like you did makes low speed crawling smooth and easy. If you need a little more wheel speed you can try an 18tooth pinion or 4S lipo.

Sold Out

- The adapters are sold out.

I will be making more of these, but it will be a couple months before they are available. The machine shop that makes these for me is back logged and it will be 2 months before I have more in stock.

Thank you to all the customers that bought from the first production run.

Honestly guys, it's not a product I think has a great need anymore. It seems that most folks are perfectly happy with the new wild boar shafts from Axial or the MIP's. Axial has changed all pinions to the new 5mm round with cross pin hole drilled through it. So as the new products roll out from Axial the old pinions with the flat shafts will be a thing of the past.

You can drill a Traxxas 4927X yoke with a 5mm drill bit and it directly bolts to any of the new 5mm round pinions from Axial. So that makes these adapters not needed if you have a new wraith for example.

I have been considering redesigning the transmission outputs to have a 5mm round instead of the 6mm flat. I appreciate the fact that some people still want this design, but 3 people doesn't warrant a several thousand dollar investment to have a second production run made. If there was really a need for this product, I think more people would be asking.

Bump...

The new design transmission outputs will be ready July 1st. If I am to make anymore of these, I need to know so they can be run with the transmission outputs. The new transmission outputs are 5mm round to match the Axial product line. So again, is there a need to step up from 5mm round to 6mm flat?

I need a set of these. Need to go from 5mm to 6mm. If so is there a package for a set of the adapters, drive shafts, and yokes? Will these clear the wraith trans. Running a 87t with spur cover on. Trying to run wheely king axles. Or do you have something else that will work?

I do not have any available for sale. Once Axial changed to the 5mm round outputs on the axles & trans, there was no longer a need for this kit.

In regards to your build:
The Axial wraith trans outputs are 5mm.
The HPI wheely king axle pinion is 5mm.
Where do you a need a 6mm?

If anything, you need;
1 - long C.I. trans
2 - 4927X Traxxas yokes
1 - 4951X Traxxas drive shafts

Those parts are available in my web store. The long output will allow you to keep the spur gear cover and still have a bigger drive shaft & yoke. The yokes are 5mm which will fit your HPI axles.

I just tried to slide my axial yokes onto the WK pinion shaft and the yokes are to small. The yokes for the WK are too big for the Axial outputs. I was told they were 6mm. I'll figure it out. Thanks

That's not a big issue. All you need is 6mm yokes on one side.

1 - Long C.I. transmission output
1 - 4927X Traxxas yokes (5mm - For the Axial transmission)
1 - 4928X Traxxas yokes (6mm - For the Wheely King Axles)
1 - 4951X Traxxas drive shafts

Cool. I'll do that. Adding them to the cart now. Thanks
