Axial Wraith
weight: around 7 lbs
Usage: Mostly crawling, and a little bit of rock racing and trail runs
Tires: Hot Bodies Rovers (white dot)
Bead lock width: 1.7" (they're Axial VWS)

Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Shane

I don't think you need Double Deuce foams. I think you need Deuce's Wild 2.2 Standard foams. You will not get a rock crawling foam out of a rock racing or trail run foam. A builder must focus on one or the other. Rock crawling uses dual stage, rock racing and trail rides use single stage.

Ah, so the Double Deuce are more for rock racing and trail runs? Please forgive my ignorance, I was not aware. I do some competitions in my area that are mostly rock crawling, and wanted something a little more robust than my stock memory foams.
Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to give me a hand, I really appreciate the assistance.

Deuces Wild foams work great in a rig weighing around 8lbs or so for all facets in my opinion. I run them in my C2 scale rig for Comps, G6 and general trail runs and like them a lot.
I would suggest using a rig stand with any foam but especially with the Deuces Wild foams so you don't get flat spots in them.

Good luck!

is there any vendors that have considered to make pre-narrowed/skinny tires???
I am asking because there is so many off us crawlers who is trying to find somebody who narrows tires like the ottsix voodoos or the skinny rovers...
I bet if hot bodies sold pre-narrowed rovers they would sell alot more tires,,and they could sell them for twice the price and save som rubber,,he he he..
I have noticed that crawler innovation is selling pre-cut foam to narrow tires..
it is kinda strange since there is no pre-narrowed tires...
just a thought

Hey Eddie, have the 5.5 Double Deuces been discontinued? Your site doesn't even show options when I click on the 5.5 tab and everyone is out of stock or back ordered. eBay only has the Chinese knockoffs. No more 5.5 DDs, say it ain't so.

CI is sold out of 5.5 Double Deuce. They have been removed from the website in the meantime. Unfortunately CI had some quality control issues in the machining process. Consequently we are out of stock of items longer than usual.

I see a narrow Double Deuce inner foam listed on your site, but I don't see the wide inner foam referred to above. So I need to ask, which inner foam fits on a Vanquish 2.2 Method BL wheel which is 1.2" wide?

You want to purchase the standard or comp cut foams that are NOT listed as Narrow.

What are the specs of those tires?

Are they heavily rubber reinforced on the inside?

I don't have them in my hands yet. The side wall at the corners is supposed to have extra ribbing if you will to support the lugs. I would need someone else to chime in with dimensions and first hand feedback.
