| ![]() The next innovation in foam design is now here. Crawler Innovations is happy to release a new product line named Deuce's Wild. The Deuce's Wild Foam Line will carry several different design and shaped single stage closed cell foams. The purpose for the new design: - improve handling and tracking at speed; essentially filling a tire with more air pressure in the 1:1 world - 100% water proof - tunable; the end user can trim the foam ribbing to increase forward bite - a foam designed for 7 pound and heavier scalers - a foam for the Twin Hammers - a foam that will stop the thousands of emails asking what foams I need; this is a one size fits all foam. Use them on the wheels and tires they are designed for and see how easy true performance can be. The first foam to be heavily tested all around the world this summer was the Deuce's Wild Single Stage for the Pit Bull 1.9 Rock Beast. It won multiple RECON G6's among other things. These are $7.95 a Pair(2) Link: Single Stage Closed Cell for 1.9 Pit Bull Rock Beast ![]() ![]() ![]() $60 Combo Pit Bull Rock Beast Tire & Deuce's Wild Foam Set: Pit Bull 1.9 Rock Beast & Deuce's Wild Foam Combo ![]() Sometimes an unbiased review says it best. Here is Average Joe's RC review. Joe did two reviews. The first is an unboxing and explanation of the new design. The Second video is an after G6 review and four days of abuse on the foams and tires. If you have a high speed G6/ TerraX Rig, you NEED these foams!!! They are like night and day. My rig is stable through full throttle turns now, much like my ShortCourse trucks. No more traction roll when my sidewall folds!!! Proper Foams are definitely the most economical upgrade for maximum performance gain out there. They are the most overlooked upgrade, and really they should be one of the 1st upgrades to any crawler/trail rig... If you don't have closed cell foams in your pitbulls, your depriving yourself of the ultimate driving experience!!! 😎 ![]() |

Ran these in the G6 at Nats. I mounted them just a few days before so I had zero time testing. After playing around for awhile and getting the tires scrubbed in a bit they just kept working better and better. I made no modifications, other than for wheel weights, and I feel you only give up a little forward bite. But what you get in return on steering and sidehill performance is way worth it. I always felt the sidehill was the weak point on my set up but I was able to turn uphill on stuff that the rig would just barely stick to. My rig isn't all that fast but the handling at speed was far improved. I considered adding a tuning ring to fill out the tire a little more, but by the end of the weekend I hadn't seen a reason to change anything. In the end, great combo! |

Do you plan on doing waterproof foams for 2.2 scalers? My wraith is completely waterproof except for the foams...

There will be two sizes available. One size is for the Pit Bull Rock Beast 2, but it will also fit all the other 5.75" tall tires. The second size is smaller and designed for tires like the Axial Ripsaw, HB Sedona & Rover, ProLine TSL, and similarly sized tires. | |

ive been using mine for a while now and all i can say is that these are awesome. firm enough that the sidewall wont fold over and soft enough im getting superb traction. now that im used to how they handle i dont think i need to change back to lil novas. these work just fine and im not having any issues with them at all. fantastic foams!!

I installed these in my Rock Beasts on my Axial Rubi two nights ago. They were way easier to install than the two-stage foams that came with the tires. Also, the 'lumpiness' the tires was eliminated and it was simple to get the tires nicely centered on the wheels. The tires look much better than they did before, and the performance of the tires is really good. Though firmer than the stock foams, I haven't perceived a drop-off in crawling, yet the performance at speed has been greatly improved. Well done Crawler Innovations! ![]() |

Quick question on tuning them,I read cutting the centre ribs to increase bite,do you cut out the whole 2 centre ribs? Or just peices
