Do you still want that RX? I keep forgetting to bring it with me.

I want to buy that HS-645 from you

Yeah, I will take the rx. I have 4 HS-645's in the Twist, do you want them all? I see a trade in our future!

I only need one servo. I thought they were NIB. Do you want to separate them out from your plane? If you don't its no big deal. CSRC.com has some 645 equivalents on sale now.

That's a nice radio Barry. Unfortunately, 4 of my 6 cars run digital servos. Only my Crawler and my Duratrax have standard servos, so it's not really cost effective. The crawler has a Spektrum Rx, but the POS losi Tx. I'll have to think about it. After having a radio with programming, it's really hard to use the old standard type.

It is programmable. I understand about not wanting to change radios. I just said what the hell and went for it!

I know it's programable. I was refering to the Losi one. You know me, I HATE having more than one transmitter. The DX7 has me spoiled like that. I'll likely just spend the $32+/- for another rx for my Hitec radio. I like it, it works, I should just stick with it. That said, I do like 2.4ghz, I like the small antenna's, not worrying about having to route the long antenna...etc....There is a 2.4 module for my radio, but it's costly.

You know, I need to be careful here....I'm talking myself into that radio. You know, I'm going to go home and double check those servos for digital.

Heck, I could sell the crawler radio and rx and have enough for that radio and 3 rx's.

I'll let you test it first. Maybe, I'll put $200 in your hand to hold and try it out (private joke).

Um....you're are talking about Barry and Jerry right? (I know, sounds like an ice cream shop) You'll not get serious out of most of us. We're in RC for fun and relaxation. If it's too much like work, it ain't happening. I take it that Barry has not brought out his lawn chair and canopy yet?

That was our first time at that location. It was more of a test than a competition. Conditions were NOT favorable to say the least. Childish? Well, thats your opinion. I hope you didn't think anyone was taking a swipe at you because of the comments made. That is not the case at all. I am only speaking for myself ,but I know we all have too much money dumped into our RC stuff but its NOT that serious for me.

What made Saturday suck was the snow on the rocks, not the type of crawling we did.

Al hit it on the head. I am not in RC for competition, I am in it for fun. The few times we, Pete, Barry and Myself ahve run, we did a lot of follow the leader and quite enjoyed it. The competition comes in seeing if you can conquer the obstacle your buddy just did. If we cannot make it over a section we simply pick the truck up and "bypass" that section.

If that is being childish, then call me a kid.

No worries. I'll pick one up eventually. Not in a big hurry. So I'll be the back runner in follow the leader......no big deal.
