I guess I am in a mood today...

Thinking it would be fun to have another qualifier in Wendover.

What I do have:
Comp supplies

What I dont have:
Any support

Since our comp scene is practically dead here, I dont have hardly any help to do anything so I would have to rely on volunteers.

Thinking along the same lines as last time.
Basic/simple comp
Would like more than 5 2.2 courses. Judges would dictate this.
I liked the food aspect and would like to do something again.
Trophies? I could come up with something. Depends if you guys want cheap and easy or slightly more money to support this.
No T shirts, could change my mind, see above.

Pretty much the same as I did before. I dont want to make any money on this so it would pretty much just cost what it costs to run the comp.

Post up your thoughts or if this is something you would like to see happen. I honestly wouldnt care about attendance numbers myself. The lower attendance would just mean its easier to organize and more possible courses to run.

I was thinking about Memorial day weekend. The reason I see this as being a benefit would be to give people a 4 day weekend (if you take Friday off), people are not stressed about leaving early on Sunday and then burned out on Monday at work and hopefully more would be able to take the time off work? I do get that it could throw a wrench in the plans for family plans or whatever, so if this affects many, speak up, otherwise, I will plan this date.

Yeah, that wont work! I dont know why but I was thinking that date would have given a month + before AZ.

Is the end of April too early? If the end of April does not work, I think it would be best to wait until Oct? It gets plenty hot out there.

Alright, lets set this comp up!

Lets do the weekend of April 25th unless somebody has a good objection. That will give everybody about 6 weeks to plan and a good bit of time between this and the AZ comp.

I dont know about everybody else, but just the idea of the comp has me pretty excited! I have missed comp crawling and would love to have some qualifiers back!
