I've read all the threads and all the posts on RCC and no one has really talked about the actual-factual performance of the CC yet.

How does it stack up to what we know now as far as actual ability?

What about use of the axles, etc. for use in a 2.2 comp rig?

Durability, etc.?

I mean, I know people have some real wheel time on them, and they're starting to appear in stores.

So how do they do?

Seeing how Tower is in Illinois and I'm next door in Missouri, I don't think it will be much of a contest Carlos.

I just checked the tracking of my package from Tower. Looks like it will be here Monday. Now I just need to figure out how to make my Mamba 25 work with this thing. I have 2 hitec 645mg's for steering and an old duratrax 2 ch. radio. I wonder what would be a good scale body for the CC??

The Cliff Climber will probably need its own category here on RCC.

download this manual and on pg 6 is the reversing esc diagram.
Your mamba will need firmware version 1.16 or 1.17 to work.

It will work....
You will need the castle link to tweak the settings and to check and possibly change/update firmware...

I guess I just need to hook the two motors in parallel and connect to the motor side of the esc and only use one 6 cell battery pack. I know the RTR version is setup to work on 2 battery packs.

I downloaded the most recent firmware for my mamba 25, so now it can work with brushed motors also. And I'm using a seperate BEC, so the two servos should not be an issue. I just hope I get everything hooked up properly so I don't fry anything.
