Good find, would like to get more details on this. Duratrax usually includes some decent features for a nice price. Sure wish it was 1/10th though

Technically the WK is 1/12 and the TLT is 1/18. Maybe these will be the perfect size? I hope one of "experts" has some info.

everything duratrax makes is cheap, both in price and quality... Don't get me wrong, they have great designs, they just need to put a little more coin into the manufacturing process. I swear, EVERY duratrax car we ever sold came back within 24 hours needing repair.

if these are ment for serious crawling, they are going to take some serious upgrades.

my $0.02

I heard the duracrap rap before i picked up my miniquake.
I got one anyway, and I was impressed by it, especially the one year stresstech guarantee on the chassis and suspension components.
I have been beating the crap out of my MQ for about two and a half years now and only been through 4 steering knuckles and a couple of diffs, and this is with a 5000kv hyperion and 3s lipo. it has bounced back time and again. I'll definently be looking forward to this thing coming out.

ok, i was a little harsh, their mini's aren't bad, mini quake, vendetta, vendetta st.

but every evader (st, st pro, bx), nitro evader (st, bx), and warhead all are fragile.

I think this is great! Im glad more companies are stepping up and providing the crawling world with more options. No matter how well the quality of a product is, or is not, there will always be upgrade parts.

At least Duratrax has the forsight to be one of the first MAJOR manufacturers besides Tamiya to get involved. I give HPI credit for coming out with a converison.. So what if there are noobs? Do you want the sport to progress? Then you have to let new people try it. I am a nitro buggy fan. But I decided to give the ax10 a try because I wanted something fun. Not have a serious rig. Now i am converting it to a scale truck, and I have enjoyed working on my ax10 more than my Mugen. And i realized how cool crawlers are and more about electric vehicles. No offense to anyone but I find electric race buggys boring. But if it wasnt for the ax10 I would have nothing fun to play with. Besides my girlfriend.

Of course we do... but we would also like to see smarter n00bs not asking the same question 50 times a day, and complaining when we say "Use the search button, it's on here already". If they are a little smarter, and not wanting every bit of info spoon fed to them, we might be a happier group of people.

You will find that no matter what kind of hobby your into, go on any other fourm. I drag race and i'm on several other boards and its the same thing you will have nOObs and they will ask there questions and if they pick up on stuff great if not they usaually go find the next big thing, BUT with out them and there I have to run this to win or whatever there would be alot less product to choose from so i welcome them and there over and over again questions and the VENDORS i'm sure love them too

my lhs has not heard of the duratrax truck yet

but from what is available on the web its still 3 months out so im not surprised we have not heard anything yet

duratrax is not a brand that spends alot of time or money in advertising

i hope it is a rock crawler...the more trucks on the market the better
it just means more parts and more inovation for us

With the guarantee they have and whatever they make their parts out of you should be able to pound on these pretty decent. My ex g/fs nephew had a Duraterd buggy and he beat the SHIT out of that thing and never managed to break it.
