| Is this truck worth it for $139.99 for a RTR
I am debating on buying this truck. Stormerhobbies has the RTR for $140. I am looking for something to just goof around with and do some light crawling and winter bashing. |

Yes, for the money its perfect, I do recommend some of the hop ups like the steel outputs, and gears, maybe get some extra dog bones, or upgrade to the CVDs. Andrew |

yea its rad. u dont realy need to upgrade but to make it fool proof i would. all of my drive train is stock and hasnt faild me yet check out my build it the gree coast dreeper all i spent on it extras cost like 50 for the axial links and ends thats it. and these things are tuff i crawl in my local river bed and often endures 20 foot tumbles down a 45degree incline. i did however get the artr. but either way the Cliff climber is well worht it |

I order all of my parts from them very good customer service too. oh sorry didn't mean to get off topic here this will make it all better |

IMO its a wicked lil crawler outta the box but stock is for wussys :-P , ive had mine now for a couple of weeks, ive done a hand full of mod's to it and the flex is insane... ive upgraded to traxxas metal links, longer of course,i can fit now a 1/10 scale body on it, did all metal traxxas links also in the steering,a set of team integy metal ajustable crawler shocks, set of axial bead locks and a set of mashers with no foams in em and of course the freebie mods the left to right knuckle flip and the bottom links moved inwards on the frame.. my only complaint about it tho is the rear motor lag when ya get it on too much of a incline, but nothin more money wont fix next if i could find a hobby shop in town that isnt sold outta them is 10 tooth pinions Last edited by phat97yukon; 11-23-2008 at 07:10 PM. |

Tower Had them for "black friday" for $149.00 I pickded one up with two of the new 1600mah batteries and 2 packs of AA batteries. All for only $176.00 after discount code and free shipping due to being a club member. I hope it will be as capable of my Axial RTR. I finally have it worthy after some homemade mods. |
